Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The Day Humanity Went Too Far

21st May, 2069.

The day the world changed forever.

Humans discovered a mysterious energy—something faster than light itself.

They named it Quantum Energy: a force 100× faster than light, unstable, violent, impossible for normal shuttles to withstand.

Soon after, explorers found a glowing purple gem with star-shaped patterns carved naturally on its surface. This became known as the Quantum Stone.

Using this stone, humanity built its greatest invention:

The Quantum Shuttle, a purple, star-themed spacecraft capable of surviving Quantum Energy and traveling to unknown worlds.

For years, these shuttles discovered countless planets.

Until… that day.

A shuttle discovered a planet that looked almost like Earth—but far more futuristic than anything humans had ever imagined.

The crew landed.

They never expected what came next.

They were suddenly ambushed by humanoid creatures—strange, powerful, and hostile. The scientists panicked and ran back to their shuttle, barely blasting off the surface.

But their relief didn't last.

Behind them, ten enormous warships—made from the same material as the Quantum Stone—chased them at impossible speeds.

"These aren't shuttles…" a scientist whispered.

"These are WARSHIPS—and they're far more advanced than anything we have."

One of the creatures connected to their main screen:

> "No one who steps foot on our planet escapes alive. We are the M—"

Signal lost.

A massive boom shook the shuttle. The rear section exploded.

The crew was sucked out into space. All of them died instantly.

Only the shuttle survived.

Its autopilot returned it safely to Earth.

From that moment onwards, some creatures began attacking Earth daily.

Guns were useless against them—they were immune.

Humanity discovered only one way to fight back:

Magic. Sword Techniques. And Ki—the sixth sense that can detect anything, even through flesh and bone.

These creatures had only one weakness:

A hidden Core, a spherical orb located somewhere inside their bodies.

Destroy the core, and the creature dies.

Humans named them:

NC Creatures- Nomenclature

"The story ends here, children. Now sleep,"

said Sister Ruby as she closed the old book in the church.

Just as she reached for the lights—

"Sister Ruby!" a child asked.

"If all the scientists died… how do we know what happened to them?"

Ruby smiled.

"Because the shuttle carried a radio recorder. Every second was captured."

The children gasped in unison.

"OHHHH!"

And the truth?

The story she told…was real.

She just didn't want to scare them.

---

Five Years Later

The orphans were finally ready for their first day of 9th grade.

In Class…

Teacher: "Roll no.1 — Miya."

"Present!"

"Roll no.2 — Aamon."

"Yes ma'am."

"Roll no.3 — Nimo."

"Here!"

"Roll no.4 — Yami."

"Present."

"Roll no.5 — Julian."

Silence.

Teacher (annoyed): "Julian! JULIAN!"

Nimo: "Ma'am, his head is hurting again…"

Teacher sighs.

"Take him to the nurse."

---

Nurse's Office

Julian woke up—again.

He was used to it.

Nurse Selena: "Bad dreams?"

Julian: "Yeah… I saw NCs crying for help."

Selena: "It's just a dream. Go. You're late."

---

Fateful Encounter

Julian ran toward the classroom but collided with a girl at the corridor turn.

Pink hair. Diamond-shaped eyes. Radiant.

He froze.

She bowed slightly.

"Sorry, I didn't notice you."

Julian: "N-no! It's my fault!"

She smiled.

"I'm Luna Kiyume. You can just call me Luna. And you?"

"Julian…"

"Nice to meet you. Bye!"

Something about her made his chest tighten. He didn't know why—but he knew this meeting was not ordinary.

---

School Ground

Julian met his two friends, Yin and Nami.

Yin: "Bro fainted again?"

Nami: "You're unbelievable."

Julian: "Do you guys know Luna Kiyume?"

Yin: "Of course! She's from the Kiyume Royal Family of Japan! Why?"

Julian: "I… think I like her."

Nami: "Dream on. She's royalty. We're orphans."

Julian sighed.

And gave up on crushing her.

Nami: Leave that man the main thing is that next year we are going to turn 16,,, Do you know what that mean .

Yin: Yea! We are going to get our power and fight at the frontline.

Julian(at background): Still sighing.

---

One Year Later — Awakening Ceremony

At the Great Magic Hall Auditorium, everyone aged 16 was tested.

So the first test was about mana storage test.

In which

Yin scored 85 mana.

Nami scored 84.

They were not that happy cause the average mana storage of a men is 80.

But then they asked Julian how much point he got .Julian… only 50.

Magic and Sword Assignments:

He was last in almost every test.

Now based on their they will get their power and sword which will be decided heavenly.

Yin: Wind Magic + Wind Blade

Nami: Nature Magic + Grass Blade

Julian: Cosmic Magic + Cosmic Sword

The hall murmured. No one had ever received Cosmic Magic before. No one knew if it was a blessing—or a curse.

Luna: Fire Magic + Soaring Sun Blade

Her sword was so bright and beautiful the entire hall stopped breathing.

---

That Night

Julian trained alone.

No improvement.

Suddenly—

A fireball shot past him.

Luna emerged from the shadows.

Luna: "Sorry… I thought you were an NC."

Julian: "You attacked me??!"

Luna: "Relax. You dodged it. What's your Ki level?"

Julian blinked.

"My what?"

Luna: "You didn't test your Ki? The most important thing?!"

Julian: "I… skipped it. I was too embarrassed…"

Luna sighed.

"Your Ki feels strong. Very strong."

Julian: "Really?! Finally something good!"

Luna: "Come to my house."

Julian:"...Why?"
