I called out the person risiding in the room Infront of my door across the hall.
"Carte-"
"I got your bandaid."
"AHHHH! GAHCK!"
I yelped and stumbled sideward oppositely where the voice came from,
I raised my hand to cover my mouth.
I saw a woman covered in draped in black maid like dress,
As she looks at me dead in the eye.
"Do you want me to scream in your mind,Dorn?"
"Uhh.. please no Alice."
Alice Held out her left hand, giving me the bandaid she got from her room,
Without batting an eye to my eye.
I looked down at her hand, as I saw a bandaid with black fox design mascot character.
In my mind, I want to say that "I prefer a normal bandage."
I murmured, unconsciously.
"I'll look lame With that, not cool."
I stretch out my hand to Alice to receive the bandaid. As I was about to took it from her
She pulled back her hand.
"Not, even a thank you?"
I retorted with no emotion behind it.
"Thanks."
Alice pulled her both her hands back to her back.
"What now dorn?"
"Thanks Alice"
"One sol then"
Alice replied with a stern voice.
My mouth widen in agape.
"Whaa!,N-not for free?"
The woman Infront of me who was looking at me with stern face earlier is now making a face that I can't comprehend
"No, if you act like that."
"Thank you so much for helping me with everything as always Alice."
"Hmmm..."
"What's wrong? Why are you making that face, I don't understand."
"It's nothing"
Alice retorted as she put her hands back Infront of me again and teared open the bandaid taking out the tape strips,
She raised her hands Infront of my face.
Alice spoke
"Your glasses."
I raised both my hand grabbing the hinges of my glasses removing it off my face,
Infront of me Alice face became slightly blurry.
Alice applied the fox mascot character design bandaid in my nose bridge where I rest my glasses.
" There, now try it out if it won't slip out."
I placed my glasses back on, and pushed the bridge of it to be stuck on the bandaid,
I turned my head left and right, up to down testing it out if it will fall.
"Finally, it will lessen the risk of loosing my glasses"
"Good to know four eyes"
Alice said with a a grinned in her face.
Infront of me was Alice, our relationship Is something I couldn't understand.
It's more than friends.
Or being lover.
It's something that It felt like if Alice isn't here, I would have given up a long time ago, choosing to succumbed to the Corruption of the soul and mind or being killed by a condemned.
my eyes smiled at the person Infront of me as the warmth that envelop my rotten heart feels less burdened by everything.

Alice spoked it a low voice whispered manner.
I smiled awry at Alice respond,
I tiptoed to look behind Alice, in the empty hallway stretching far until the end of the hall it turned left.
I said in a curious tone.
"Have you seen carten,He's still asleep?"
"He Must be dead, right."
Alice spoked in a jokingly manner.
I shrugged her jokes off
"Alice, I'm ready for the day tomorrow"
"So am I Dorn, as always our plan, I'll be your binding and hypno, and you will be the main attacker. "
Alice said in full confidence.
"Uhh,What time is it?"
I raised my eyebrows.
Alice eyes rolled back.
"Hmmmm...3 hours left till 6am."
Her eyes returned back to her normal neutral expression.
" Alice, we should go back to our own room and get ourself ready for the next trial."
Still can't read her expression she stared at me for a few secs.
