"Hu Tao, take good care of Fang Qiu. It's very cold in your Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, don't let her catch a chill. We'll be going now. See you tomorrow."
Xiangling, carrying a bag, waved her hand at Hu Tao and spoke.
Guoba also waved his hand.
"Mhm, I know. See you tomorrow," Hu Tao said, nodding while holding Fang Qiu.
Watching Xiangling walk out the door, Hu Tao cast her gaze upon Fang Qiu, who was limp in her arms, her face flushed red and her eyes glazed over. The scent of Silk Flower balm mixed with Fang Qiu's own body fragrance and the complex aroma of cake lingered around her nose.
Fang Qiu's body was so soft.
Looking down from her angle, that alluring snowy-white cleavage was right before her eyes.
Hu Tao exhaled a breath slightly, wanting to dispel the strange thoughts in her mind. However, the breath she exhaled happened to blow right onto the base of Fang Qiu's ear, causing the delicate body in her arms to tremble involuntarily.
"Fang Qiu, let me carry you to bed to sleep," Hu Tao whispered, only feeling Fang Qiu's body tremble slightly and not knowing what had happened.
"Mhm." Fang Qiu responded groggily.
Hu Tao wrapped one arm around Fang Qiu's back, lowered her body slightly, and then wrapped her other arm around Fang Qiu's thighs, scooping her up in a princess carry.
However, because Fang Qiu was wearing a cheongsam, her hand was placed directly on Fang Qiu's bare thigh.
"So light, so soft," Hu Tao murmured softly. She carried Fang Qiu all the way to the bed and gently laid her down.
Fang Qiu lay on the bed, her face flushed. With her eyes slightly squinted, looking as if water were about to spill from them, her breathing was somewhat rapid due to the alcohol, her chest rising and falling continuously with her breaths.
Large expanses of fair, exquisite skin were exposed to the air. Coupled with the messy cheongsam on her body, she looked extremely seductive.
Looking at Fang Qiu lying on the bed, drunk to the point of unconsciousness, Hu Tao suddenly felt a bit restless inside.
Her chest felt stuffy, a bit breathless. She couldn't move her eyes away from Fang Qiu's slightly parted lips. For a moment, she was at a loss for what to do.
"Wu."
Just then, Fang Qiu let out a soft whimper, frowned slightly, turned sideways towards Hu Tao, and curled up her body.
"Phew."
Seeing this scene, Hu Tao finally reacted. She gently exhaled a breath and hurriedly stepped forward to cover Fang Qiu with the quilt. Seeing Fang Qiu's brow gradually relax, Hu Tao finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Maybe I should sleep too," Hu Tao murmured, glancing at Fang Qiu's sweet sleeping face.
After all, Fang Qiu was so drunk; she didn't dare run off. What if she rolled over and fell off the bed later?
The chill in Wangsheng Funeral Parlor was very heavy. Fang Qiu's body was so weak, she was drunk out of her mind, and... and she was wearing so little. Even if she didn't break anything falling off the bed, she would catch a cold.
So, sleep it is.
Hu Tao took off her shoes, climbed gently onto the bed, and lifted her leg to step lightly over Fang Qiu's waist and hips. She moved Jumpy Dumpty onto a nearby chair.
Although the chair bore a volume it shouldn't have for its size, it managed to hold steady.
Having dealt with Jumpy Dumpty, Hu Tao walked to the side of the bed, slowly took off her outer garment, and then burrowed into the quilt.
At first, she thought about sleeping on the outside and moving Fang Qiu to the inside. That way, with her blocking the edge, Fang Qiu wouldn't fall off the bed no matter what. But seeing Fang Qiu sleeping so soundly, she didn't dare touch her, afraid that a single touch would wake her up.
The blanket was so warm.
Lying beside Fang Qiu, Hu Tao closed her eyes. However, the moment she closed her eyes, her senses were infinitely amplified. She could clearly smell the fragrance on Fang Qiu's body and even hear Fang Qiu's breathing.
I can't sleep!
It's been almost two hours, and I still haven't fallen asleep...
She subconsciously tossed and turned, opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw was Fang Qiu's fair, slender neck. Just as she was looking a bit entranced, Fang Qiu suddenly moved her body restlessly. Before she could react, Fang Qiu turned over, facing her.
"So close."
Close enough to clearly feel Fang Qiu's slightly hot breath and feel the temperature radiating from Fang Qiu's body.
In an instant, Hu Tao's heart beat like a drum, and a layer of red flush quickly rose on her pretty face. That restless feeling surged into her heart again.
Such smooth skin. Even this close, she couldn't see a single blemish on Fang Qiu's pretty face.
Just as her heart was pounding fiercely, Fang Qiu suddenly frowned and mumbled something indistinctly in her sleep.
"Cold."
As she spoke, she curled up slightly, like a kitten that had caught a chill. Pitiful and lovable.
As night fell, the temperature in Wangsheng Funeral Parlor would drop along with Liyue Harbor's temperature. So, it was normal for Fang Qiu to feel cold.
Hu Tao originally wanted to get up and get another quilt from the cupboard for Fang Qiu, but in the next moment, a bold idea formed in her mind.
After hesitating for a moment, she lightly bit her lower lip, shifted her body gently towards Fang Qiu, and then reached out to place her hand softly on Fang Qiu's waist, half-embracing her.
Seeing Fang Qiu's brows gradually uncrumple, Hu Tao finally let out a small sigh of relief.
She didn't know why. Clearly, when she reached out, her heart was about to jump out of her chest, but after placing her hand on Fang Qiu, her heart calmed down instead. The feeling of being flustered also faded quite a bit.
However, only after calming down did she realize that her hand seemed to be placed on the diamond-shaped cutout of the cheongsam. Her hand was pressed against Fang Qiu's tender waist.
So soft...
Thus, holding Fang Qiu like this, she fell into a deep sleep.
The moon moved and flower shadows shifted; time flowed slowly.
"Wu."
In her sleep, Fang Qiu let out a soft hum, her brows knitting together lightly.
So uncomfortable...
It felt like something was pressing on her chest, making it hard to breathe. Her head was woozy, her eyelids heavy, her consciousness a bit unclear, and her limbs seemed immovable.
Was she... having a fever again?
Sigh, this body of hers, getting colds and fevers every other day, what was she to do?
Should she go to Bubu Pharmacy to get some medicine to strengthen her body and boost her immunity? Or maybe pick up the exercise routine she had abandoned for so long once she got back?
Eh, wait.
That's not right.
Didn't she get drunk and stay at Hu Tao's house? Hu Tao's house... isn't that Wangsheng Funeral Parlor?
Wangsheng Funeral Parlor...
Could it be that she was being "ghost pressed"!?
Thinking of this, Fang Qiu felt her blood run cold instantly. For a moment, she lost her composure.
Now, should she try hard to regain control of her body? Or find a way to open her eyes?
What if she opened her eyes and saw a ghost face, or a pair of iron-blue feet wearing red shoes hanging in front of her? That would be too terrifying.
She would probably be scared to tears... or even scared to...
That would be too embarrassing, right?
What to do?
Hu Tao, where are you?
