The vast compound of the Demon Slayer Corps spread beneath the mountain mist, simple yet dignified. Takumi followed the Kocho sisters through the wooden gates, his gaze sweeping across the traditional buildings.
"Huh... Compared to Butterfly Mansion, this place feels like a poor countryside dojo." Takumi muttered.
Kanae smiled softly. "Lord Takumi, our headquarters is not meant to be extravagant. Its purpose is to serve as the heart of our battle."
Shinobu added with a quiet snort, "Hmph. Don't insult the headquarters before you even enter, big bad guy."
Takumi grinned. "Still talking back after losing to a finger flick?"
Shinobu blushed. "S-Sister!! He's bullying me again!"
Kanae sighed helplessly. "Lord Takumi, Shinobu, please behave in front of Master."
Takumi laughed but nodded. He stepped forward.
Entering the Hall of the Hashira
The sliding doors opened.
Inside, the Pillars—Hashira—sat in two rows.
Rengoku Kyojuro, flame-like hair blazing.
Tomioka Giyu, silent and expressionless.
Uzui Tengen, radiant as if bathed in sparkles.
Himejima Gyomei, hands clasped in prayer.
Shinazugawa Sanemi, glaring like an enraged wolf.
Kanae Kocho's own seat stood empty beside them.
At the far end sat Ubuyashiki Kagaya, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Takumi strolled in casually.
"Yo! Good afternoon, everyone!"
Every Hashira froze.
Sanemi slammed his palm on the floor. "Who the hell are you, brat?!"
Rengoku blinked. "Young man! Your greeting is cheerful! That is GOOD! But also suspicious!"
Uzui raised a brow. "Unflashy. Extremely unflashy entrance."
Giyu stared silently as if Takumi didn't exist.
Gyomei murmured a prayer tearfully. "Another misguided soul… may the gods show mercy…"
Takumi's mouth twitched.
"These people are more dramatic than Rimuru's old slime days."
Kanae stepped forward and bowed.
"Master, everyone—this is Lord Takumi. He saved my life yesterday. And… he eliminated an Upper Rank demon alone."
The hall fell silent.
Sanemi's laugh cracked the air.
"Hah?! Don't talk nonsense! He looks weaker than my grandma!"
Shinobu snapped back immediately.
"Sanemi-san, do you dare say that again?"
Sanemi glared at her. "What? You want a fight, pipsqueak?!"
Takumi raised one hand.
"I mean… if you really want proof—"
He vanished.
A gust swept the hall.
Before Sanemi could even blink, Takumi was behind him, tapping the back of his head.

The other Hashira watched—stunned.
Even Ubuyashiki slightly widened his eyes.
Sanemi slowly turned, veins bulging.

Takumi poked him again.

"Ow—HEY!!"
Takumi grinned. "See? You're too slow."
Snickers echoed.
Shinobu smirked with sparkling eyes.
Kanae giggled softly behind her hand.
Uzui declared dramatically, "Unbelievably FLASHY speed!"
Sanemi almost exploded on the spot.
"YOU LITTLE—!!"
Kyojuro stood up instantly.
"Sanemi! SIT DOWN! He is not an enemy!"
Gyomei added gently, "Anger clouds judgment."
Sanemi gritted his teeth but obeyed.
Takumi sat cross-legged.
"Alright. Can we talk normally now?"
Takumi & Ubuyashiki – A Necessary Alliance
Kagaya Ubuyashiki smiled gently.
"Lord Takumi… thank you for coming. You have saved a member of our family. For that, I am deeply grateful."
Takumi bowed slightly.
"I'm not a lord, but thanks. Kanae was worth saving."
Kanae's cheeks pinkened.
Shinobu elbowed her.
Ubuyashiki continued.
"Kanae tells me… you may be capable of eliminating Kibutsuji Muzan. Is this true?"
The air hardened.
Even Giyu glanced at Takumi.
Takumi shrugged casually.

Sanemi choked.
Uzui dropped his kunai.

Shinobu's eyebrow twitched. "…Show-off."
Takumi continued.
"But killing Muzan isn't enough. Your world has too many weaknesses. Too much pain. Too many tragedies."
Ubuyashiki leaned forward.
"What do you mean, Lord Takumi?"
Takumi's eyes sharpened.
"I want to build something here. A foundation. A foothold."
"Something that will make this world no longer rely on luck or fragile hope."
Kanae's eyes widened. "Lord Takumi… you mean…"
"Yes."
He stood.
"I want to construct an outpost of Dimensional City in this world."
Gasps filled the room.

The Hashira murmured among themselves.
Rengoku spoke first.

Uzui flipped his hair. "If it's flashy, I'll support it."
Gyomei wiped tears. "If suffering ends… I shall support this wholeheartedly…"
Giyu nodded quietly.
Sanemi groaned but didn't object.
Takumi exhaled.
