Chapter 76 - Lore Fragment — The Power Growth of the Goetia

Among demons, ancient whispers speak of the Goetia bloodlines beings of near-regal might whose magic and authority surpass nearly all who dwell in Hell. But few truly understand one simple truth:

A Goetian is born with potential not power.

For the first decades, and sometimes even the first few centuries of their existence, a young Goetian remains unexpectedly vulnerable. Their strength is unfocused, their magic unstable, their essence still forming into what it is destined to become. These young heirs are often called:

"The Shadows of the Crown"

creatures who carry the promise of greatness, yet have not grown enough to wield it.

During this stage, it is entirely possible even common for certain Overlords to be stronger than a young Goetian, especially:

Overlords who have amassed influence for centuries,

those who rule vast territories,

or those who possess millions of devoured souls (though not billions that level is unreachable for ordinary demons).

Because of this, some Overlords speak of young Goetians with an air of smug superiority. But such arrogance always ends the same way. in silence, as the centuries pass.

For when a Goetian matures…

when their bloodline fully awakens…

when their birthright finally crystallizes…

No ordinary Overlord can stand on equal ground with them.

The difference is like that between fire and a star:

both burn

but only one can set the heavens ablaze.

Even among the noble houses of the Goetia, the difference in strength between individuals can be as vast as creation itself.

To compare Paimon and Stella is to compare Heaven and Earth two realms that share no equal ground.

Paimon, shaped by centuries of refinement, mastery, and a lineage that has reached near-mythic perfection, carries a presence that bends the world around him. His power is not merely inherited it is awakened, cultivated, and earned through the slow burning of time.

Stella, though a full-blooded Goetian in her own right, has not undergone the same awakening. Her potential may be great, but the gap between an unawakened royal and one who has already stepped into his true birthright is immeasurable.

It is said that:

> "A young Goetian holds the spark.

An awakened Goetian becomes the inferno."

And Paimon stands firmly in the latter category.

Between them lies a divide no Overlord could hope to crose a gulf of magic alone, but also experience, authority, and the silent weight of centuries.
