Chapter 4 - The king is behind curtains

After a while, she said, "You, Athena, need to buy new clothes because your current outfit is suspicious." We then went to a clothing store, which was one of the best stores selling such items. "Choose whatever you like; there's plenty of money," she said. I approached a cashier and spoke to her respectfully. "Ma'am, could you please help her choose clothes?" She glanced at the woman with me, then back at me. "Okay, I'll help her... Miss Jamila, what's your name?" "My name is Fredica, but they call me Athena." She clasped her hands together in front of her face with an attractive, businesslike smile. "Okay, let's see what clothes suit you."

Five hours later, after they finished choosing clothes, they found me fast asleep. "ZZZZZZ!" Athena started shaking my shoulder to wake me up. "Yuta, wake up!" I slowly opened my eyes. "Huh? Are you finished?" I found her carrying a pile of bags filled with elegant and beautiful clothes. We headed towards the checkout counter.

"Okay, how much do the clothes cost?" She started calculating the price of the clothes that I bought it in a flash. "It costs 10 platinum coins." I took out 10 platinum coins while glaring at Athena. She was avoiding the gaze of the person between us. "Well, here you go, and we apologize for troubling you." She put the money in a designated place. "It's alright. Thank you for visiting our humble shop." I glared at the employee. "Humble? Are you kidding me? Where's the humility in not seeing it?" "Goodbye." As we strolled through the city towards a house, I asked, "Did you like the clothes?" Her head was down, and there were marks of beatings on her head. A tear fell from her eye. "Yes, they're beautiful." Upon arriving at the house, I said, "This one will take care of you in my absence, and I've changed my mind. We'll live here. I asked the Duke to prepare a palace for us to live in, and we'll move in next week. Well, meet her. This is Fredica, and they call her Athena. She's the leader of the Dungeon of the Rulers' Cemetery." It was like a thunderbolt striking them all at once. "Are you serious, brother?" I defeated the strongest fighters of rank X, XX, and XXX, three of whom were mages and warriors. "But I managed to defeat her," I said, then refuted their exaggerated claims about her strength. "Hey, stop exaggerating her strength. The truth is, there are people who could easily defeat you. Who are Son Goku, the son of the Demon King, Milader, Gowther McAteer, and several others? I don't know the exact number, but I consider myself stronger than them." "Is that confidence or arrogance?" I replied with exaggerated confidence, "You know the answer yourself."

A week later, we headed towards our new house. It was a beautiful palace, three times the size of Cassell's palace. "This is our new house... Do you like it?" The trio were happy with their new home. "Of course we like it." I headed towards it. "Let's go inside." As soon as we entered, we were shocked by its beauty and the precision of its design. "Wow, it's truly beautiful." Then, Rushdie divided the rooms among us. "First, the largest room is mine, then the second room is for Ciri, and the third and fourth are for Kira." "Lyra and the fifth one for Athena, go to your rooms to tidy up and put away your things... Alright, let's go." Meanwhile, Yamirzas, so furious he was practically fuming, slammed his fist on his desk, sending a cloud of dust into the air. "Haven't you found him yet?" His advisor, visibly shaken by his master's anger, replied, "We haven't found a trace of him. It's as if the earth swallowed him up." He looked up to find his skin melting, blood gushing from his eyes. His body was dissolving so rapidly that his teeth were falling out, blood was pouring out, and his eyeballs were popping out of their sockets. He collapsed, dead, in a truly gruesome manner. "What's happening to you, Mr. Yamirzas? Blood is pouring from your face, and your skin is melting... My master is dead. But how did this happen, Madam? It's impossible. She's dead too, and even Barko is dead.

Only two members of the Casseraal family remain: Seri and Yuta Casseraal. They left the house months ago." A laugh escaped him. A smirk spread across his face.

"I'll take their fortune for myself, hahahaha!"

He headed towards the safe and the jewel treasury, but found them empty. There was no sign of any treasure. This left him bewildered and angry. "What? How is the family safe empty? I'm sure it was full of treasure!" And I laughed smugly at that fool. "Hahaha, that idiot! He thought I'd leave him my family's treasures to take? How ridiculous!"

After a short while, he went to his room. A few minutes later, a maid entered and bowed her head respectfully. "It's time for breakfast, sir." He noticed her hesitation. "What is it? Speak up. What do you want from me?" After a few moments, she composed herself and spoke. "I have shocking news. The head of the hunters' center for the country of Yafris has been found dead." Upon hearing the news, he feigned sadness over the wretch. "Oh, what sad news!" She continued, "And his son will take over his position." After hearing her words, he gestured for her to leave. "Very well, you may." She left the room.

Three minutes after she left, a sly smile appeared on my face.

"Gother, you did it!" I went down to the breakfast table. While we were eating a grilled steak, Athena handed me a letter. I looked at the envelope with surprise. "What's this, Athena?" "It's a letter from the King of Yavris. He wants to meet you." I opened the letter, read it carefully, and then turned my gaze to him. "Where is he?" She replied immediately, "He's at the Duke's palace, waiting for you." I stood up from my seat after hearing her words. "Very well, I'll go meet him right away."

Five minutes later, at the palace gate, there were two B-rank guards. One of the guards spoke to me while pointing his weapon at me. "What do you want from the Duke?" I took an envelope from my jacket pocket. "The Duke himself asked me to come. Take this letter and read it." He took the letter, read it, and checked the seal on it. His tone changed to respect. "Very well, you can Entering, and after a short while in the guest room, "What do you want, King Shen?" he replied in a tone full of arrogance and pride, "I want you to become my guardian. In other words,

I want you to be my right-hand man." "I refuse your request," I said firmly, but he met me with anger, wanting to impose himself on me. "This isn't a request, it's an order." I stood up, my gaze sharp as a sword and my tone as cold as ice. "Listen, Shen, you know I have the power to wipe your kingdom off the map if I so desire. So watch the words that come out of your mouth before I cut it out. Understood, Shen?" He pointed at me with his finger, panting with rage. "How dare you threaten a king like me?" I placed my hand on my forehead, massaging it. "I think you didn'tUnderstand the situation you're in right now." A snap of fingers transformed the world into a pitch-white void, devoid of the laws of time and space. It began with a fat man cursing me, but I ignored him. "Speak, you...

You bastard! Why is there only whiteness?" As we swam in the white void, my gaze remained cold. "As I told you, I've wiped your country off the map." Fear gripped him to the point of trembling. "Stop joking, Yuta," I said calmly. What was happening didn't concern me. "Do I look like I'm joking? If you want everything back, give up your rule." "But... but..." He hesitated, not wanting to lose his position. I placed my head next to his ear and revealed my main plan. "Choose: rule or the lives of millions of people. But don't worry, you will remain king, but in someone else's name. I don't care about this small country; I aspire to control the entire human kingdom, and this country will be the launching pad for controlling the human kingdom. Do you understand? ... And if you try...

to tell anyone, you and everyone dear to your heart will die. Do you understand? Let's take everything back." A snap of fingers. "Ah, everything is back as it was." "It was," I said, as if nothing had happened. His body was sweating profusely and trembling violently. "Yuta, I'll do anything you want, just don't hurt my family, okay?" A sly smile appeared on my face as I brought my mouth close to his ear. "Only if you don't do anything against my orders." I immediately raised my head, bidding everyone farewell. Shin watched me as I left. "Who in the name of the Creator of Heaven and Hell is this monster, Yuta Cassiral?" Duke approached Shin anxiously, not understanding anything. He saw me get up and then found the king in this pitiful state. He helped him up. "Your Majesty, are you alright?" "Yes, I'm perfectly fine.

I'll return to the capital tomorrow. Prepare a carriage so I can leave early tomorrow morning." He said this, his trembling still there. The shameful state Shin had taken in front of me made Duke seriously consider trying to provoke me. Meanwhile, I was returning to the king, as I had spoken with him at length. "I didn't have a chance to explore this city." "I noticed an advertisement plastered on a wall and went towards it, my curiosity killing me. 'What's this advertisement?' I started reading it after tearing it off the wall.

[For every talented person who wants to join the Vrsalkin Academy, the oldest and best academy in the world. The day of the entrance exams is Sunday, October 26, 674]

I pressed the advertisement down hard, a wide smile on my face. 'I'll join it to have some fun watching the students develop... and I have to go home.' At the dinner table, I told them about the academy. 'I'm going to join the Vrsalkin Academy.' Everyone was shocked by what they heard. This puzzled me. They said in unison, 'What? How? Why?' I looked at them for a while. 'I'm not 15 yet. I'm 14, and my middle brother is 13. Siri is 10.' Siri spoke with some sadness, 'Brother, when are you going?' I put some salad in my mouth and then answered her, 'I'm going to take the entrance exams.' October 26, 674, the day of entry to the academy. January 1, 675.

There will be two tests: a written test and a practical test. I'm not nervous about the entrance exam. "Kira, who noticed a big problem in my plans," I said. "There is a problem," he said. "What is it, Kira?" I asked. "There are 15 days left until the entrance exam, and you haven't left for the capital yet. The distance between Berheis and the capital is a full three months." I wiped my mouth with a tissue and looked at him with a look that said, "Nothing is impossible for me." "It's okay, I'll go right after dinner." "And after dinner, Yuta? But how will you arrive in time and study for the written exam?" she asked, a little nervously and anxiously. "Don't worry, I placed a device on the king's back that allows me to locate the capital I will go to. Anya, see you later." I kissed her on the cheek and then disappeared. In the capital, which was vibrant and crowded with people even at night, I said, "This is the capital of the kingdom. It's beautiful at night, just as I've heard. I have to find a hostel to stay in until the day of the exam. The first thing I need is a good memory." "So I wouldn't have to tire myself out studying books on theories of magic and such," I said, heading to the nearest hostel. On the day of the entrance exam, an official spoke in a stern tone while looking at the 200 people present. "Just to clarify," he said, "before the exam begins, any attempt to cheat will result in permanent expulsion and 10 years imprisonment. The person will be barred from retaking the exam for life. I hope you understand. Here are your exam papers." Papers started flying towards us and landed on each examinee's desk, along with a pen. I heard one of the students say, "It's so difficult! How can we possibly pass this?" For me, the exam was easy. The system answered every question with perfect accuracy. "It's extremely easy!" After half an hour, I went down to the supervisor to give him my exam paper. "I've finished the exam. Here you go, supervisor." He was surprised for a moment, then his expression returned to seriousness. "You may go." Some of the students were amazed at how I finished it in half an hour out of six hours.
