Chapter 11 - Blood Moon Assassins Team2

"Okay, it's my turn," I said to the phone. Admiration was evident on my face. "You have the ability to manipulate spacetime? That's good." A triumphant smile spread across Gowther's face as he looked at his phone. "I returned it to Hiro." He put the phone down and turned his gaze to me. "And what will you do, Gowtho?"

"I won't do anything, but what do you want to do?"

"I'll gather the comrades, and then we'll rule the entire human kingdom. That's what I'll do."

"To pass the time, or for something bigger? You know how small this world is compared to other fantasy worlds."

"Okay, good dreams. I have to go. Goodbye, Yuta Cassiral." And he vanished, teleporting his shadow.

"Okay, okay, I met one, and there are many more to come. Ah, I have to sleep. Tomorrow I have a long day."

The next day, in alchemy class, Lucy's friend, Colin, was working on a magical cube. "Have you finished crafting a king cube yet, Colin?" Colleen looked at Lucy with a small smile. "No, I finished it two days ago. I'm just making some improvements. What about you?" Her gaze fell on a light blue bracelet covered in gold runes, then she looked back at it with a hint of frustration. "I'm still trying to draw power from the Time Lady's bracelet, but I haven't been able to—"

"Because it has so much power, and I haven't found an easy way to use it?"

Colleen placed a hand on Lucy's shoulder comfortingly. "It's okay. You'll find a way. I trust you." Their teacher interrupted their conversation, announcing the end of the lesson. "You can leave. Class is over." "Goodbye, Colleen," she said as she gathered her things. "Okay, see you tomorrow." Lucy headed towards the classroom door, a look of disappointment on her face.

Five minutes later,

Lucy was with Beatrice. "Come with me." They each went to a secluded spot where no one could hear them. A puzzled expression was on Lucy's face. "What do you want from me?" Lucy stopped, her gaze fixed on Beatrice. A serious expression on her face surprised Lucy. "I have some shocking news to tell you." "What is it that makes you so serious and indifferent?" She inhaled deeply before speaking directly. "The news is that last night, at Utah Casseraal's apartment, the heir to the McAteer family, Gowther McAteer, visited him at 8:00 PM." Lucy placed her hand on her chin with a triumphant smile. "Really? That's good. We have our first clue that will help us find out who he is." "First, we need to know his behavior." Beatrice pulled out a piece of paper with information about her, surprising Lucy. How and when did she do that? They ignored Lucy and read what was written on the paper: "Utah Casseraal's traits: He eats with his left hand, is easily distracted, is sedentary after work...etc." "Well, that's enough information for now."

A young man with short black hair and green eyes was eavesdropping on their conversation. Tom approached them with pleasure and suppressed joy. "You want to too?" "We know who he is," Lucy replied, feigning ignorance of the person's identity. "Yes, we want to know who he is, but who are you?" A look of embarrassment crossed his face as he looked at them. "I'm Tom Fragelsen, Student Number 9 in the Elite Class. It's a pleasure to meet you." Beatrice tried to shift the focus from this digression to the main topic. "Very good. What information do you have about him?" Tom recalled information he had gathered from his research in recent days. "What I know about him is that he eliminated the gate of the so-called 'Graveyard of Rulers,' and he has a connection with the Duke of Parhees. Even more astonishing is that he is a nobleman of Casseraal (Baron). The Casseraal family is a noble family of Baron rank. The head of the family, his wife, and the middle son were all found dead in a dark and perplexing way. Only two remain: Sery and Yota Casseraal. Some rumors say they created a gene weapon with legendary power, but its nature is unknown. I believe Yota is that weapon." A question mark was evident on Lucy's face at the information Tom had gathered. "But what is the reason?" "What led you to assume it was a genetic weapon?" "Because after analyzing the DNA of a strand of his hair, I discovered something shocking: he's not human. 25% demon, 25% angel, 25% dragon, and the remaining 25% is an unknown species. And I noticed that these cells are capable of infinitely regenerating." Beatrice placed her hands on her chin, trying to piece together all the information she'd gathered from Tom, then turned her gaze towards them. "This explains his insane strength and also why he possesses so much mana and high concentration. But should we confront him with the truth, or even gather a lot of evidence?" Lucy categorically rejected Beatrice's second suggestion. "We'll go to him so he doesn't have a chance to steal the information we've obtained or try to manipulate us."
