Chapter 185 - A Hidden Truth Revealed—Things You Must Know Early to Adapt to the Future

He let out a sigh, clearly deeply annoyed by her behavior, then turned his gaze toward her—much to her surprise—and delivered a sharp slap to the back of her head.

She clutched the back of her head in pain, glaring at him, but her expression quickly shifted to one of bewilderment when she noticed that he, too, seemed to be feeling pain in his own head. It dawned on her then that they were sharing the physical damage.

This realization brought to mind something Yuta had said back when they were on their way to the Market of Mysteries.

Looking at him, she asked, puzzled, having noticed a wound on his neck that seemed eerily familiar.

"Strange—how did you get hurt on your neck? Is there someone out there stronger than you, Master Yuta Casiral?"

There was a subtle, mocking undertone to Gia's voice—a jab that made Yuta look at her as if he were contemplating tossing her right out of the moving vehicle.

"It's not a matter of strength, but of intelligence," he retorted, his tone dripping with derision as he slowed the car to let a herd of deer cross the road. "Some fool seems to think they're the only one who has to bear the consequences of their own actions."

...…....…........…

Gia rolled up the car window, sensing—or perhaps just feeling—that they were nearing their destination.

"From what I gathered from his words, one half of you is enrolled at the Versalkin Academy—yet, to the academy itself, you're completely unknown." "Still, why didn't you bring him—or her—along? And why me? Wouldn't it be better to protect your 'other half' if you share the same fate? If they die, you die too. I imagine they'd be a beautiful girl, just like you—and a vile, filthy, wretched piece of scum, just like you, too."

Yuta stared at her, his expression unreadable—was he laughing, or simply stunned? Or perhaps he just found the whole situation a bit bizarre.

He brought the car to a stop in a vast, empty space—a stretch of land the size of three average soccer fields—leaving her bewildered.

Breaking her train of thought, Yuta spoke:

"When the time comes, you'll find out whether I invited them or not. In the meantime, I hope you hold onto that opinion—that my 'other half' is a vile, filthy, wretched piece of scum. It'll be quite amusing for me once you finally discover who they actually are. Hahahahahaha!"

...…....…........…

Jiya narrowed her eyes in clear annoyance, watching Yuta—who was stifling his laughter while maintaining a composed expression. Deciding to shift the focus, she steered the conversation back to the primary reason for his visit: to tell her everything she needed to know.

She spoke in a calm, steady tone, her gaze fixed on him—prompting Yuta to drop his facade and turn serious:

"It's time to tell me everything that's important right now—oh, 'revered' and 'great' Creator Yuto." Yuta remained in thought for several minutes before speaking in a calm tone:

"500 trillion years ago, at the Palace of Versalkin, the Exalted Messenger of the Great Outcast, Astratus, was..."

500 trillion years ago, at the Palace of Versalkin, the Exalted Messenger of the Great Outcast, Astratus, sat with Ji Yao Li in his study.

As they gazed at one another—their calm expressions concealing immense, terrifying power and status—the Exalted Messenger of the Great Outcast, Astratus, spoke in a quiet, inquisitive tone:

"What brings you here, Ji Yao Li, Chief of the Guardians of the Sacred Tree of Existence? Is there something you require of me?"

Ji Yao Li let out a sigh, heavy with weariness and exhaustion—a reaction that caught the Exalted Messenger of the Great Outcast, Astratus, by surprise.

"I had intended to invite you three days from now, but I have changed my mind. I suspect that the other Guardians of the Sacred Tree of Existence wish to kill me, as well as the Master of the Sovereign Path and his brethren. Yet, at the same time, I feel that my own death might be the best course of action at this moment."

"Therefore, I shall entrust you with the Shard of the Great Outcast and the Nameless One. Though they are currently fused together, they shall be set free when the time is right."

The Exalted Messenger of the Great Outcast, Astratus, took the box offered to him, finding it far heavier than it should have been—as if it contained other items besides. Nevertheless, he decided to set the matter aside—whether it was a case of two fragments existing simultaneously or something else, he could not be certain.

He placed them into his own personal dimensional space, all the while gazing at Ji Yao Li with a calm expression that held a subtle, hidden sorrow. Ji Yao Li was his mentor, and hearing such words from him was deeply saddening.

"Master Ji Yao Li, I question whether this is truly the best course of action. You are immensely powerful—you could easily defeat them. Why, then, would you choose to let them kill you?"

A faint smile graced Ji Yao Li's face as he listened to the words of the Exalted Messenger of the Great Outcast, Astratus.

In a calm, composed tone—filled with a sense of ease and contentment—he replied:

"I feel empty, as if parts of me have been torn away. It is an agonizing sensation. That is why I believe death may be the best path—a way to find my lost fragments, or 'seeds,' or whatever they might be."

The Exalted Messenger of the Great Outcast, Astratus, did not utter a single word. He simply looked at Ji Yao Li, then rose from his seat and said:

"I suppose it is time for me to take my leave, Master Ji Yao Li—Guardian of the Sacred Tree of Existence."

Ji Yao Li said nothing in response. He remained seated, watching as the Exalted Messenger of the Great Outcast, Astratus, departed from his study—his gaze still carrying that same, subtle, hidden sorrow. ...........….....

......…........

......…...........…

Jiya continued to listen to Yuta's words with a degree of astonishment, all the while recalling what the one known as "Nameless" had told her: that 500 trillion years lay ahead, that she was a part of Yuta, and that she needed only to break through the "Boundless" rank to attain her freedom—though, in doing so, she would lose the boost in power she gained whenever she was in Yuta's proximity.

Nevertheless, he accepted it quickly; after all, nothing is free—you have to lose something to gain something else.

"So, you're heading to the Northern Continent—specifically to the Hua Yu Clan, where Zhao Li used to live—aren't you?"

Jia's tone was calm as she gazed at Yuta, who was lying on the bed.

Yuta, however, didn't bother to answer; there were more pressing matters than a trip to the Northern Continent. He turned his attention toward Jia, who was lying beside him.

"Now that you know the truth, what will you do next? Will you rest until it's time to break through to the Boundless rank and earn your wings—or what?"

Yuta asked, his voice laced with curiosity.

She didn't respond, leading him to realize that either she didn't want to share her plans, or she was still annoyed that he had ignored her earlier. He sat up and left her bedroom.

As he walked away, he remarked with a hint of mockery:

"You'd better get some rest—otherwise, you'll never have any pleasant dreams."

Jia watched him leave, looking puzzled. She then turned her gaze back to the ceiling, her expression a mix of calm and deep, lingering irritation as she recalled those dreams.

"So, that child is Yuta..." she muttered, her voice laced with intense annoyance. "But who is that blue-haired woman?" Yet, her expression shifted to one of sadness and anger. The fact that she was not a complete human being troubled her deeply—though she had once believed she felt nothing at all, that had merely been a lie she had told herself.

"Annoying, annoying, absolutely annoying! It makes me so angry. I'm just a fragment of some arrogant fool who thinks she's the queen of the world!"

Jia's voice was thick with rage and sorrow as she hurled her pillow away in a fit of fury.

Feeling only an intensifying surge of anger, frustration, and sadness, she stood up—only to find a young man sitting in her desk chair, wearing a faint, gentle smile.

Startled, she wiped away her tears and stared at him.

"Boutaleb? What the hell is he doing here?"

Jia's voice was laced with bewilderment as she gazed at him.

He looked back at her, shifting his posture to sit more comfortably. His expression turned to one of surprise, and he rose from his seat, walking toward her—which, in turn, left her even more perplexed.

"Ms. Jia, what's wrong? You look so incredibly sad. Is something the matter? Oh—I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Boutaleb. I was born while you were asleep. A pleasure to meet you."

Boutaleb's voice was brimming with cheer as he looked at her.

He sat down beside her, completely unfazed by Jia's look of shock and confusion. She could only stare at him, unable to utter a single word. She summoned the resource window, and her shock only deepened.

Jia stared at the list of resources for several seconds before shifting her gaze back to Boutaleb, her voice trembling with shock:

"Are *you* the phone? But I was using you just a few minutes ago!"

A look of realization dawned on Boutaleb's face, and he offered a faint smile. He then transformed into the "First Creator's Phone" before immediately shifting back into his human form.

"Yes—as I mentioned earlier, I was born from a phone and a sample of your DNA; that is why your image appears on the device. But there's no need to worry! I simply wanted to see my mother—that's all. I won't appear very often, I promise. Hahahaha! Hahahaha!"

Boutaleb's voice was filled with pure joy as he looked at her. His eyes began to close on their own, and he rested his head on Jia's lap. She stared at him, bewildered for a few seconds, before he shifted back into the form of a phone.

She picked up the device cautiously; the fact that an eighteen-year-old young man had turned into a phone—and then back again—was strange enough to put anyone on high alert, leaving her wary of whatever might happen next.

After spending several minutes searching through the phone, she lay back down, trying to make sense of the situation.

"This is incredibly bizarre—a phone turning into a human, then reverting to a phone. Wait a minute... aren't you also part of another entity? The 'other' half of Yuta?"

She let out a sigh, rubbing her face with a mix of annoyance and intense frustration.

Yet, the sudden appearance of a system interface—materializing out of thin air before her eyes—brought her a sense of relief.

As Jia gazed at the system interface, the world around her began to shift. She found herself in a room cluttered with clothes, where Abu Talib sat, occupied with his phone.

She was taken aback, though she didn't dwell on it; their home wasn't large—just a standard living space, a guest room, and a kitchen. She usually thought of this particular room as a communal area where everyone would gather to watch television or take a rest.

She wandered around the room, searching for anything that might be useful, but found nothing of value. She looked back at him, only to see that he was still engrossed in his phone. She let out an audible sigh of annoyance, then moved over to sit beside him to see what he was actually doing. Discovering that he was watching an *isekai* anime, she felt a sense of frustration—realizing that, amidst this entire chaotic mess, there was nothing of any actual use to her.

However, her expression shifted when she saw him open his notes. Curious, she grew excited to see what was written inside—only for her expression to turn to one of bewilderment as she read the following:

"In another world, demons emerged and began waging war against humanity, bringing magical powers along with them. Meanwhile, Son Goku and his companions were locked in battle against Black Frieza; the price for his defeat was that Goku had to sacrifice his own life.

Afterward, Goku awoke to find himself beside a woman he didn't recognize—a woman named Semira—who addressed him as 'my son.' Surrounded by strangers, he realized he was in another world."

Everyone was astonished that he was still alive, though his mana had become contaminated—a result of his own dark mana intermingling with "holy angel mana." This specific type of mana belongs to the angels—humanoid beings distinguished by their exceptionally pure mana, striking beauty, and noble character; they are known as "angels" due to their blue-hued skin.

After the others had departed, Goku was startled when a screen suddenly materialized out of thin air:

"Host, I sense your tension—please, remain calm. I am the 'Devour System,' here to serve you. You have been granted two sacred skills that currently restrict your full power. Furthermore, your Saiyan genes have carried over, meaning you retain the ability to access your various transformations. Both your dark mana and holy mana are equal in strength, with each individually matching the magnitude of your total power. Ultimately, the combination of your Saiyan, demonic, and angelic mana—multiplied together—equates to your current total strength. Your power now stands as follows:

1% = 670 million 'Malanahaya' (mana units).

You might wonder how you attained such immense power: the system allows for infinite, unconditional evolution, and I have restored your full potential. Had you possessed this capacity from birth—starting with your full power as it was when you first fought Frieza—and considering your current hybrid nature (50% Saiyan, 25% demon, and 25% angel), your strength has increased to an astronomical degree."

Goku: "So, the presence of this holy mana was intended to prevent me from ascending to the throne... but who could have done this?" "System, is there a way for me to control both dark mana and holy mana?"

"There is a way: you must reach the fourth level of either the Mana Sword or the Mana Spear. Until you reach that level, I will prevent the dark and holy mana from clashing within you."

"Very well, I choose the sword."

The following day, when the time came to name him, he spoke up: "My name is Son Goku."

Everyone was stunned that an infant could speak. People began to whisper, "How is this possible? How can a child speak at such a tender age?"

Time passed, and by the age of six, Goku began his training.

One day, while he was training, his half-brother—Caesar—approached and mocked him for his inability to wield mana.

"Ha, ha, ha! Look at you—a disgrace to the royal family. That's only to be expected, considering you're the son of a servant."

Goku said to himself, "I've finally reached the first level of Mana Sword mastery."

[Flashback]

"Come forth, beasts! 'Strike of the Blood-Soaked Night'!"

He wiped them all out.

"What's this? A hidden tunnel!"

The System chimed in:

"Host, inside this cavern lies the Sword of Athena—the Demon King's blade. It is ranked first among the most powerful swords ever forged; you must obtain it."

Goku remarked, "What a magnificent blade! Well, System, what do you think?"

"It is a fitting weapon for you, my lord."

Caesar shouted, "You—you wretch! Speak!" "Cat got your tongue?"

Goku provoked him:

"Ha! Just a little kid still hiding in his mother's arms."

Caesar: "You, Goku! I challenge you to a royal duel!"

Goku: "Fine. I accept—any time, any place."

Caesar: "The duel will take place in a week. Prepare yourself for defeat."

He walked away with a cunning laugh.

The next day, Goku began training by slaying monsters, absorbing their power through his 'Devour' skill and his Saiyan genes, and extracting the shadows of those he killed.

He reached the fourth level of the Mana Sword technique.

A week later, the duel between Goku and Caesar began.

Caesar: "I didn't think you were actually serious about fighting me."

Goku: "Ha! That's rich! Me, afraid of you? You're dreaming!"

The sound of clashing swords rang out: *Clang! Clang!*

Goku: "Mana Sword, Second Form!"

Caesar: "How did he reach that level? It took me four years just to master the first level!"

Goku: "Don't get distracted in the middle of a fight! Lotus Blossom Strike!"

Caesar: "How did he defeat me? I'm supposed to be stronger!"

Goku emerged victorious.

A sage thought to himself, "What? How could a child possess such power? His aura is terrifying—it bears no resemblance to Goku at all."

Goku, using telepathy, warned: "Listen here! Whoever you are—if you utter even a single word, I'll kill you."

Caesar: "I won't let the son of a servant defeat me!" "This is impossible! Take this and die!"

"What is this intense pressure?"

His father, the Demon King Mlaider, spoke: "You! Nobles do not betray others. Apologize to your brother at once."

Caesar replied, "Yes, Father."

He was trembling with fear.

"Little brother, I ask for your forgiveness for my despicable actions."

Goku, his eyes glowing with a demonic light, said, "I accept your apology, brotheeeer! It's fine—just a scuffle between siblings. But if you ever do it again, I'll kill you on the spot."

Caesar thought, *What is this pressure? It's even stronger than Father Mlaider's aura!*

Mlaider said, "Goku, come to my office tonight."

"Understood."

"Very well, Father."

Goku left and returned to his training in 'Sword Mana.'

That night, Goku went to his father. Upon his arrival, Mlaider unleashed his powerful aura, forcing Goku down.

"What is this overwhelming pressure?"

"Take this!"

Goku unleashed his own aura, which countered his father's—then he began to laugh.

"My son, I have a question for you."

"What is it?"

Mlaider asked, "Why are you training at such a young age?"

"I want to become stronger."

"Ha! I see."

Mlaider thought to himself, *What a poor actor! He was only pretending to be affected by my aura—he wasn't fazed at all.*

Five years passed, and Goku had reached Level 13 in Sword Mana. At the dinner table that night, Goku said:

"Father, I want to join the Ghens Magic Academy."

His stepmother, Loria, cut him off:

"You are not going!"

Mlaidar replied, "I give you permission to go."

Loria and Caesar were both stunned by what they heard.

Samira added, "You won't be going to the demonic Ghens Academy; instead, you'll attend the Vulgis Magic Academy—the one for humans."

"Alright, Mother," Goku said,

though he felt a bit hesitant.

Samira continued, "In a year's time, when you turn twelve, you shall go."

Goku accessed the system and discovered that his status had reached...

Level 13 in 'Sword of Mana.'

Rank A in 'Shadow Monarch.'

She thought to herself, her tone filled with utter bewilderment as she read what was before her:

"Are you kidding me, for hell's sake? Was he punished for writing this trash, or what?"

She turned her gaze toward him, finding him wearing a smile full of enthusiasm—though she couldn't fathom why he would be so happy while writing something like that.

She stepped away, leaving him to continue writing rapidly from where he had left off.

Returning to sit beside him, she noticed a burn mark on his left shoulder—one identical to the mark she had seen on Yuta back when she awoke from the coma that followed her battle with Vermon Solterk in the city of Yoher Spek.

She sighed as she watched him, yet she was struck by the fact that she could no longer see what he was writing next. It dawned on her that something was amiss—especially after hearing Boutaleb mention the name of a "hero" that differed from what she had read in the chapter.

Still, she didn't dwell on it for long; after all, if she were truly meant to see the memories contained within the notebook, it would have revealed them from the very start.

She stood up once more, deciding to explore the house—Boutaleb having left the room himself—only to be caught off guard when she found herself unable to leave; an invisible barrier blocked her path.

Her eyes shifted toward the phone, which was glowing with a bright, intense white light, making her realize that she was tethered to it.

"So, that's why I moved to a street near his home—it seems I'm bound to this phone."

Jia's voice remained calm as she turned back. She looked at the phone, but found that everything written on it had become indecipherable—save for the parts she had read earlier. She sat near the phone with a calm expression, waiting for Bou-Talib to return so she could see what he intended to do.

A few minutes passed before he reappeared, carrying a tray with some food and fruit juice, along with two glasses—a detail that left her somewhat puzzled.

He sat down beside her, looking slightly embarrassed, and immediately switched off his phone.

"Right, you're back. Hmm... what was your name again?"

Jiya looked at him calmly; since they had encountered each other before, this was neither impossible nor entirely new to her.

She spoke in a quiet, steady tone, her gaze fixed on him as she tried to make sense of the world she currently found herself in:

"Yes, I've returned, Bou-Talib. And for the record, my name is Jiya."

Bou-Talib studied her for a few seconds before pouring juice for both of them, saying:

"Nice to meet you, Jiya."

Jiya said nothing; instead, she lingered on the sight of a burn mark for a few moments before choosing to dismiss it entirely.

She reached out and gently stroked his hair, causing his face to flush with intense embarrassment. She then pulled her hand away, letting out a soft, light laugh.

"You're quite the eccentric, Bou-Talib—full of strange ideas, just like you. Still, I'm not sure whether you should keep going or stop; that's entirely up to you."

Jiya's voice remained calm as she looked at him, then shifted her gaze toward the system interface floating nearby.

As the world begins to return to its natural state, she lies on her bed, gazing at the ceiling with a calm expression and a faint smile, before rising with sudden energy and enthusiasm.

She is then startled by a system notification—an audio recording, prompting her to listen.

[Today is Thursday, March 18, 2027 / 9th of Shawwal, 1448. I'm not entirely sure about the Hijri date, but what matters is that I am in the city of Oran, and it is currently 6:30 AM.

It's a rather lovely day—the day I was born and brought into this world. I am now 19 years old. I don't feel anything unusual; I've never been in the habit of celebrating my birthday, not even when I was young.

Yet, I feel a certain sadness. My "gift" was to be completely erased from the world's records—to become someone who, for all intents and purposes, does not exist. I have vanished from every official document and record, and even from the memories and thoughts of those once close to me.

This "birthday gift" has been one of the worst experiences of my entire life. I've reached a point where I no longer know who I am; had I not left behind a few simple notes about myself, I would have forgotten my own identity entirely. These recordings are the only things that remind me of who I am.

It is an incredibly distressing feeling, yet there is nothing I can do but weep in silence as I watch others around me, happy and celebrating their own joys. Birthdays never mattered to me to begin with—they were never a part of my life.

In truth, I feel nothing but vexation; it seems the world is hell-bent on my suffering.] "This isn't fair at all—it's never been fair."

Jia continued to listen to the audio recording in silence. She then returned the first creator's device to its original spot within the resource inventory. Letting out a weary, exhausted sigh, she closed her eyes and surrendered to sleep—a consequence of the toll exacted by using the "Queen's Memories" ability, a power belonging to the realm of *I am the Great Outcast* and the domain of the "Nameless Everything."
