Jojo was relieved that his savior didn't blame him. After all, he was used to being obedient to his father, so he naturally felt the urge to be obedient to his savior too.
However, Jojo noticed her uneasiness and asked, "W-what's wrong? Jojo did a good job, right? Why do you look so sad?"
"You did a good job," Sisi smiled thinly, realizing that her uneasiness must've shown on her face. "I'm just worried about what we should do next. We can't stay here, and we can't go to the city to ask for refuge. Your fur is too striking, people will try to take you away."
"I-I don't like other humans…" Jojo muttered as he nuzzled his cheek against her neck. "That evil fat man was scary. I also saw a hunter in the forest before. They have those weapons, and they kill other animals easily."
Sisi knew the "weapon" Jojo mentioned must've been a revolver or maybe a rifle. It made sense that Jojo feared humans if the only ones he had ever met, aside from her, were a hunter and Mr. Piker.
