Kael sprinted through the snowy forest without slowing down. He sneered as Jojo's scent remained strong in the air, making it easy for him to track the boy down.
He was genuinely surprised. He had expected that woman to have gone much farther.
But judging by the intensity of the scent, he was already closing in.
'So, while I was tormenting that damned tiger, she only managed to get this far?' Kael pondered as he caught sight of the woman's back in the distance. 'Does she not realize she'll freeze to death if she slows down even a little?'
'That damned tiger called her Sisi… what a strange name,' Kael thought. Then it occurred to him that he had named his own son "Jojo."
'I suppose we aren't so different after all.'
'But at least Jojo's name has a meaning,' he continued pondering. 'I doubt Sisi does. Maybe she has a real name she hides—just like I did with Jojo…'
Then, Kael snapped out of his daze.
