The second i knocked on the gates, the gates didn't open, but a sound came from inside asking who was there, i kept silent as the scene from before kept playing in my head, but reminding myself that i wasn't that guy nor was i here trying to use the same method to join .
I took a long breath of air and after strengthening my resolve, i said resolutely and gravely :
" I'm here to join the Dojo .
Another voice different to the first one answered me, saying :
Are you paying the fees or are you going to enroll through the test .
The voice that asked me this was a rouge cold voice that seemed to lack any sort of manners .
" I'm entering through paying the fees .
A small hole in the gates appeared and i was then asked to hand the tuition fees 4 silver taels through the hole first, i seeing things like this, hesitated at first but i gritted my teeth and still handed the 4 silver taels through the hole .
I slided the 4 teals through the hole and the gates didn't open directly which made me beginning to feel uneasy, but just as i was about to break down in tears, the gates suddenly opened and i was directly pulled inside the building, whoever pulled me inside was definitely a guy who had great strength and was quite tall too, i passed by the black curtains finally and saw the inside of the building .
I felt my legs finally touched the ground again, i looked around me and my eyes widened in shock directly, i saw that the man in front of me was flaring with red light, was that Blood Qi, i couldn't help but think so, the guy in front of me was a middle-aged man with curly long hair and a short beard, while his face was filled with wrinkles, he had a tanned skin, but he was almost two heads taller than me .
The man in front of me had a wild aura to him and his killing intent was almost similar to the one that instructor Lu used against me before, but this one was released freely, i felt my whole body shivering just as he looked down at me, it wasn't that he despised me, he really need to look down so that he can look me in the eye, that guy was two meters tall at least .
Or maybe he was despising me, i saw that after he saw me shivering like this he paid me no more mind, instead he called a servant whose name was Mu Lu, then he asked him to lead me to the registration hall, before i even took another step forward, that man told me to take off my mask as masks weren't allowed to be worn inside the Dojo .
The moment he asked me to do so, i already removed the mask from my face without waiting for him to give me a reason, i remembered that the instructor already told me the same thing before, i had that intention before, but with how things developed, i was at loss of what to do, i still am, so i didn't remove it in time .
As i took off the mask, the man already finished saying what be wanted to say and vanished from my sight, the servant named Mu Lu looked at me a bit surprised, but he then shook his head and sighed while shaking his head at me, i wondered why was he doing this, but i still didn't ask .
As we arrived in the registration hall, i found no one there, but then i saw the same Mu Lu sit on the desk and he gave me a wood piece that on it was the word Outer and he put a circle around the word on the piece, he then asked me to give him my information, he only asked for a name, but he advised me that i shouldn't do any tricks and just tell the truth .
I took a few seconds to process all that happened and was happening in front of me, but in the end seeing that i might get beaten if i decided not to register and since i had already paid the money, i should be accepting to all that was coming next .
In the end i gave him my name, as i was handed the wooden plate, there seemed to be a relentless enthusiasm beating heard in my chest, i didn't like that feeling one bit and i also didn't forget the fact that i lost control of my body before completely due to those cursed feelings and that cursed resentment, I'm beginning to hope that i had setbacks in my path of Martial Arts, just so that guy can give it a rest already .
If any of those guys had taken an offence from what i did earlier, then i could have died without a burial place, it was also a quite gruesome feel to suddenly lose control of your body like that, just as i was thinking of this, i heard the guy in front of me write something in front of him and from another door to the one we entered through he began to lead me, not saying a single word to me along the way .
He led me to the Courtyard, i saw that even though it was grand, it was also currently empty then he stopped, i waited for him to move, but he didn't take any steps further, i looked at him and waited for him to tell me anything, but instead he pointed towards a building on the distance with the nameplate Training Hall .
As i was getting close to the Training Hall, i couldn't help but look around me, i saw that other than the Training Hall, there were other Halls as well, i wasn't able to see clearly what was written on the nameplates, due to the distance between each hall and the other, but i noted 4 to 5 halls were there including the Training Hall, but excluding the Registration Hall as it was connected to the entrance, more than the interior of the Dojo .
The Courtyard was also grand in size, even bigger than the one in Lu Family Complex, i saw a lot wooden posts on the Courtyard in front of me all are arranged in a way that allow a lot of people to train on without interfering with one another, i saw marks of fists on the wood, i did also so kick marks on some of those wooden stances, there were some that had even holes, there were some wooden stances broken and servants were in process of putting another .
All the servants here gave off the aura of strength, i wonder why they were still working as servants in this Dojo, as i was looking at them, i also noticed that the walls surrounding the Dojo were high enough to obscure those who were trying to pry on what was going inside and also smooth enough that it would be quite difficult to climb and even if you successfully was able to climb, you would met with Martial Artists all aiming for your head, not to mention the gue from before, the security in the Dojo was quite tight .
I finally stood in front of the Training Hall, for some reason just by barley standing in front of it, i was able to feel some pressure suddenly being exerted upon me, this was my very first step towards Martial Arts, if i felt conflicated to even take that step, i might as well go back to the Lu Family mansion and stay hidden until Lu Si and Lu Sun just forget about me .
I can wait for donkeys to grow wings also during that period of time, like them letting me go would ever happen, i discarded of all the useless thoughts that came to assault me all of a sudden and once again reminded myself of the fact that there was no longer going back .
I'm either continuing to see things through or just wait for death at any minute, since I'm here i will give myself the full chance, if that was to no avail, then i would have at least tried my best, heeh, if even my best wasn't enough, i have the chance to make a comeback in the next life, what a funny thought .
After gathering my thoughts, i began to walk towards the entrance of the Training Hall, the stairs steps in front of me weren't that numerous, 9 in numbers to be exact, but each and every step i took up, i felt that i was regaining more clarity than before, each step i took also brought more pressure on me in unnatural way, just as i took the 9th step, i felt all the pressure that i was enduring vanished as if it never existed, i was finally able to hear the loud voices that i kept on hearing from before .
I thought before entering that it came from the Courtyard, but the Courtyard was empty and i believe coincidentally the moment i stepped inside the registration hall those voices stopped echoing, but now they returned once more, those voices and the sound of impacts that came after, kept on making my blood boil, i wasn't able to contain my curiosity anymore and directly stood in front of the door and opened it,
The moment i stepped inside the hall, my eyes lit up at what I was currently seeing, in front of me, i saw an expansive hall features tall, open beams and high ceilings, the hall ceiling was decorated with different styles of writings and there was a picture of a chinese green Dragon, the whole Hall looked magnificent and quite magical .
There were a few group training sessions taking place, numerous students were practicing Martial Arts i was able to tell because they were all standing in a punching martial forms, some were sparring or more accurately beating one another in a friendly competition that helped showcasing their skills, even though they were gritting their teeth and glaring at one another .
The wooden floors of the hall were polished and seemed quite smooth as well, the moment i entered the Hall, those who cared took only one glance at me and weirdly enough, they shook their head and sighed exactly like how Mu Lu did earlier then they returned to do their own things without giving me much mind anymore .
A bit of uneasiness began to crept up on my heart, him doing once was already weird, 10 or more dozen of people doing it as well can only mean one thing, there was really something wrong going on here .
Those who didn't care at all, didn't even raise their head to look at me, I'm glad for that actually, all those guys were focused on hitting the metal posts in front of them with their fists, legs and sometimes even using their palms and heads, those who did the latter was very few .
What made them scary in my eyes was the fact that they were all hitting the metal posts in front of them with quite a remarkable strength, but their expressions weren't flickering much, nor their bodies seemed to have any injuries on it, those who stopped hitting the metal posts, their skins were all red, a scene too familiar to me then happened in front .
I saw all of them sitting on the floor in a meditative postures, but the moment i tried to see if the same process i had witnessed happening to the servants this morning happened to them by staring at the body of one of those who stopped hitting the metal posts, believing that all i did this morning, but something unexpected happen this time, the minute i stared at a guy in front me a bit more intensely, he opened his eyes and kept looking around him .
My hair stood on an end and i felt my whole body become cold in fright, but soon i forced myself to calm down after seeing that guy who i tried probing just now, turning around trying to find the culprit, so i at least was certain that he didn't know who did it, as long as i don't act suspicious, i believe I'm safe .
You know, prying into others while they are training is dealt with severely in this Dojo, who are you ? .
My heart which just calmed down slightly was once again alarmed and frightened beyond measure,my whole body began to shook, i want to escape but that thought vanished when i felt fixed in place by claws like hands on my shoulders, his strength approximately was half the strength instructor Lu used this morning to apprehend me .
If instructor Lu strength was described to be overwhelming and unstoppable, then the guy behind me strength could be challenged if i decided to go all out, but i do still believe that either i will break free from his hold and will die soon after or my try fighting against him will be nothing but my delusions and i might still get killed by him, in face of these kind of probabilities, i believe that the wisest thing to do now is to not do anything at all .
And i was indeed right about the ability of that guy behind me to shred me to pieces effortlessly at that, i was held in place from the back without even having the slightest ability to resist or even move a muscle and as if this situation wasn't already tensed enough, people began noticing us and directly came swarming us, then the moment they got close, they cupped their fist and bowed while saying in unison :
We greet senior brother Fu .
Senior brother Fu ?!!!!, the guy behind me seemed to be quite the big shot, will he kill me directly then, i couldn't help but panic, when he suddenly repeat the same question but this time he was asking those guys if someone among them know of my identity .
They all shook their heads, suddenly due to how panic i was, the wooden piece i was given earlier and was told to keep it safe fell into the ground catching the attention of all the people present, one of the disciples bent forward and picked it up and gave to the man behind me, the guy set me free and accepted the wood piece .
If not for all the onlookers eyes still on me, i would have probably collapsed on the floor directly, but that wasn't possible, for good or bad, my body was currently not listening to my brain .
I was standing fixed in my place like before, sweat began to form on my forehead and the new clothes i was wearing become completely dranched from the sweat, i was wondering nervously what was they going to do with me, but the guy behind me suddenly began sticking me in the back while saying :
So you are a new junior brother, an inner disciple even, Huh .
