After he left my hut together with the subordinates of his, I still didn't hurry towards where the leather pouch place to check it, no I still continued to act nervous, but from time to time, I would be calming myself down through deep breaths then act frightened a bit .
The reason for doing that was because I was still feeling as if someone was still staring at me from a far distance, so no matter what, I currently can't be allowed to show any loopholes in my act, luckily after 2 or 4 minutes that feeling of being spied on had finally disappeared .
But just to make sure that everything was okay, I still didn't move from sitting on the straw bed, that for some reason seemed to have become quite comfortable, my mind had to many questions again, but most of them were either unrelated to me or won't be of any benefit to know the answers of .
So I discarded all of them and I was beginning to feel that sleepiness had finally came to me, but it was too late, today's nighttime will be completely invested into training wholeheartedly, the reason was in that encounter I had earlier with that Lu Tu .
If I had enough strength, I might have been able to force him to treat me in a kindly manner, at least would have been able to refuse being detain without him providing some evidence that could give the reason to why he was accusing me of something I didn't, he acted so domineering just because he had the strongest fist, if not and with his personality he would be acting more and more submissively in front of me .
So I need strength, if not I need influence, like how I was able to repell that guy's thought of capturing me by the use of my new identity as a disciple in the Solid Rock Fist Dojo, even though that wouldn't have probably meant much to him if not for the fact that not only was I a temporarily Inner Disciple, but also the fact that I seemed to have a good relationship with Senior Brother Fu who was a Core Disciple and a Close Disciple as well, if not for that good relationship,he wouldn't have handed me such a gracious gift .
It seem that he was aware of the position Senior Brother Fu had in the Dojo, that was why he was both doubtful and surprised, his attitude changed due to that and even after I called him out for what was he trying to steal, something that could have made the previous him, put me to death directly, he actually compromised and ran like a chicken thief, it was no exaggeration to say that this relationship saved my life .
I'm indirectly once again indebted to Senior Brother Fu, this time it was a debt of owning a life to him, I wouldn't have been able to do anything but accept the punishment that Elder responsible for the Law Enforcement Team will impose on me, this will be done without no through investigation nor anything of this sort, I would be punished together with the other suspects nonetheless .
It was the same thing with the beating I got for being accused of theft before, even though the elder was able to tell I was very much innocent, he still wanted to set an example, but this time, it will be much severer punishment than before, if the one from before was for theft, this one will be for betraying the family, so even being put to death wasn't out of question in this mad family .
I was a bit regretful at the fact that I still exposed the identity of being a disciple at a Martial Arts Dojo this fast, but it was either this or throwing myself into the unknown so this was quite the good answer .
I don't know if whether that Lu Chiang might be the one coming to my door next or not, but if he did came with an ill intentions, I might be able to repell him, even though by doing so, I might unintentionally be confirming that I have a hand in this, losing the only advantage that I still have .
Being weak was both a blessing and a curse in this cursed situation, a curse because it allowed the likes of Lu Tu to treat me as they want to without the weak me being able to even lay a finger on them and a blessing because of the big advantage it gave me .
After all, who would think that someone at the 1st layer of Flesh Tempering was able to kill a newly promoted 5th layer of Flesh Tempering and in one punch at that, so I was out of the circle of suspects, thankfully .
In truth, hearing the praises on my strength from Lu Tu didn't made me happy one bit, in truth it almost made me sweat a little, after all the analysis of that Elder was very much correct, so it gave me a bit of goosebumps, but luckily due to how good I acted, it seemed that he just attributed it to me just being frightened .
Whether to make sure that I stay safe or to keep myself a backhand, a move that I can use to make things go on my favor, I will need to work hard on Improving my strength without forgetting about improving my Mastery over my Martial Skills and not to forget refining my combat experience as well .
I seem to really have quite the rough night ahead of me, I will also need to rest a little, today's incidents and events really took a toll on my mind and body, practice and rest do coexist, but I don't have the privilege of lazing around currently .
After a few minutes more contemplating like this my mind had finally calmed down and the scene around me turned back to deathly quiet, seeing that time must be just ripe, I was about to get the pouch out of the hole in the walls when I leaned on the wall, as before I knocked on it a few times first until I was finally able become certain that rodent and his family seemed to have really moved out .
I reached with my hand in the hole and was able to get the tall weird looking pouch out of there, I opened the bag directly, or at least I tried to do so, but no matter how I pulled it open, the ropes tying the pouch shut didn't budge even a little, I kept trying all kind of methods known to me to force it to open .
I even began holding the pouch upside-down and shake it in hope of making the items inside force their way through and forcing it to open, but to no avail, even though, I felt the shake of the items inside, even after they kept attacking, the opening didn't budge even a little, I tried to pull out the ropes but found that even after using my full strength, it seemed that the ropes were glued to the pouch, sealing the possibility of them being pulled out of it .
I was beginning to have a headache in dealing with this pouch, almost to the point of getting desperate enough to began throwing it at the walls of the hut in hope of it opening, after all my tries and even the desperate tries as well, I postponed trying anymore and instead inspect what might be the problem with unlocking the pouch .
I was able to tell that the leather it was made of with even better processed than the one used for the saddle, the ropes were tied together and fixed in place as if they were under some kind of spell fixing them in place like that .
The pouch seemed to be holding some item inside that looked to be taking a lot of space, but after feeling what was inside the pouch with my touch, I was beginning to believe that a sword or some long dagger was put in their, the pouch looked not more big than an arm, but through touching the surface of it and through the lot of experiments I did earlier, I was able to tell that the pouch had some items including that weapon .
I marveled at how this was possible, being able to store a weapon and other items in the pouch without it showing any sign of being cramped, felt quite magical at least if my guess was correct, but thinking like this made me even feel more troubled, I was still unable to force it to open, after all .
Seeing it had such a magical properties was enough for me to understand that it was not a normal leather pouch, but what it was and how to open it was what really bother...d me .
Wait magic, yeah, that might actually work, the new world I was in, can indeed be called as such, it had a weird elements like Blood Qi and Heaven-earth Treasures, who both had magical use from what I had saw and heard especially with the letter, so why can't I use that magic to solve it .
Feeling excited again, I began to circulate my Blood Qi inside of my body, closing my eyes and remembering every route I need to follow, or the Martial Apprentice at the 4th and those who are above in Flesh Tempering need to follow to be able to display their vigorous Blood Qi outside of the body, if someone were to see me currently, he would be able to see that my skin was flickering with red energy that kept flashing on my skin .
After making sure that I had done everything correct and seeing that the panel in my mind didn't send me any notification, I was able to sigh in relief at being successfully able to circulate my Blood Qi and display it on my skin, the scene that appeared back at the well appeared once again here but this time it appeared willingly .
If someone who had knowledge about Martial Arts were to see me currently like this, that person would probably think that the person who he was watching in front of him, must be at least at the Middle Stage of Martial Tempering, due to flickering Blood Qi on my skin, even though I was currently at only the 1st layer of Flesh Tempering, I wonder what that person might think if he were to see me after activating Dragon-Tiger Transformation secret technique .
Will he think, I'm a Martial Apprentice in the later stages of Flesh Tempering, probably not, after my few encounters with people who I believed was of this level, I can't help but found that there seemed to be something unique to all of them .
Other than just their Blood Qi being displayed freely outside of their bodies, something close to an area of influence surrounding them, I don't have a clear idea about what it was, but I'm certain that there was indeed something strange to them, I hope to find out .
But I guess whether I like it or not, this will have to wait until I got the chance to ask or achieve it myself, for now I will try to see if my solution was the correct one,I was holding the pouch in hand and in the same way I was circulating the Blood Qi in my body by adjusting my breathing, I did the exact same thing, but this time I was aiming to infuse my Blood Qi into the pouch to see what might happen .
It seem my gamble paid off, the moment my Blood Qi swarmed into the leather pouch, the robe knot that was unmoving a second ago began to loosened on its own, that wasn't the only change that happened, in fact the whole pouch was now glitter with light .
I kept on giving it more Blood Qi and after feeling that it was completely satisfied, the knots were untied and I saw that the pouch was as if it got inflated, it suddenly began releasing all of its contents on the floor as if throwing up each and every items it contained, I was surprised by the sheer number of the things that came out of it, there were 6 or more items now on the floor .
Yet I was still looking at the pouch in hand with adoration, looking at the shape of the things now on the floor, I couldn't help but marvel more than before at how capable the pouch in my hand was .
I also released a sigh of relief, thinking that luckily I won in my gamble this time, I was really beginning to feel bothered by the fact that I held such a treasure trove in hand, yet I was unable to get access to the things inside, my eyes were shining brightly at the thought of wonders similar to this one or other wonders that this world might still had hidden in it .
I discarded of these thoughts and stared at the items spawned out of the pouch just now, I saw 3 vials exactly, 3 books and a short sword, not a dagger, the sheath was black, the handle was silver, even though the sword was still in sheath, I felt that it was a good sword at least better than the one I currently have .
Other than those items, I found a stack of Paper Money, I first didn't understand what those were, but a sudden realization hit me and I almost jumped enough to hit the roof above me, the Paper Money in front of me acted like Bank Check .
Each papers money in front of me had an amount of money written on it and it was stamped by the Bank, yes Banks actually do exist here and the best part about them, was that they didn't ask much question as you go to cash the money, as long as you had the Paper Money in front of me and it was authentic, they won't even ask where the money came from and whether you were the real owner of the money, they won't ask anything before handing you the money .
In front of me there were at least three or 4 Papers Money, I couldn't help but thank the Deacon Lu for the big gift he gave me in mind, I caught the first Paper Money in a hurry and saw that on it there were 10 Silver teals words written on it together with the stamps that belonged to the Bank .
I looked at the next one and saw that it had 20 silver taels together with stamps similar to the one before, the third one and the 4th one both had the same stamps, but different stamps to the first two, one had 5 silver taels and the other had 15 silver taels .
Making the total of the silver taels in hand to be 50 silver taels in total, no, 56 in total, the guy had 6 silver taels that were scattered on the ground and only now did I notice them, seeing myself getting rich overnight like this filled me with all different emotions, I was reminded of how long it took Tian Long originl to saves just 4 silver taels and now I had become a rich man .
After I had enough time dwelling on that fact, I began to at the other items in front of me starting with the vials, the three vials in front of me were of different colors, two were green and one was red, I opened the wooden cap of the green ones and I smelled a refreshing herbal smell assaulting my nose all of a sudden, after seeing the 4 brown round pills inside, I capped the vial again .
Moving to the next one, I found it had the same refreshing herbal scent and this one had 3 pills in it, the final red vial once I opened it, the smell in it was so terrible, that I found terrible on stopping my coughing, it was even worse than the scent I had earlier .
I still forced myself to look inside of the bottle and I saw a dark red pill, it was having a weird glow around it, making it look mesmerizing, the moment my eyes fell on the scene of that pill, the foul odor that I was feeling completely was discarded out of my mind, my mind was in trance and I woke up from that trance with a horrified face .
The moment I woke up from my trance, I found that at some point of time I was holding that pill in hand and almost swallowed it, thanks to the screaming ghostly face that appeard to scream at me after it came out from the pill itself was what jolted me back to reality .
