—On their way to the Car meetup.. They both had a little talk about this "Illegal Street Race" as Vinne is still very curious on how this all works. He himself has never participated or even watched one.
VINNE : "So how does this… Illegal Street Racing works?JAYCE : "You're seriously asking..?"VINNE : "D- Don't judge now, I just never even participated or.. watched one."JAYCE : "You definitely missing out though.."VINNE : "So.. You explainin'?"JAYCE : "It's basically a car meetup at first, we wait for the host, once the host arrives.. 3 to 4 racers volunteer to race and each racers place about 40K to 50K Yen on the line for the bet, who ever wins it wins it all. Simple."VINNE : "Eh.. Gets complicated during the race right?"JAYCE : "For the racers, ofcourse. For the audience, then they should just be aware if the police comes."VINNE : "Fair enough.. wait.. don't cops' just track down ya'll's plates'?"JAYCE : "They're fake, Everyone has their plates as fake or they cover up one of the digits so it's harder for the cops to track them. Either they got a bunch of extra or back-up plates once one gets caught during a race or maybe an Illegal street race OR They keep changing the digit they have to cover up."VINNE : "Shiii' That's pretty smart.. pretty illegal though."JAYCE : "Who cares.. all our cars are modified, ain't no cop can catch us."VINNE : "Got a point there."
—The two arrives in the Car meetup located in a parking lot in Sawatari, Kanagawa Ward in Yokohama City. Jayce parks his car and exits the car. with Vinne. Immediately, Jayce was given tons of looks by the other people in the Car meet.. Some of them being a friend of Jayce.One of them with grey hair eating some crackers approaches Jayce.
(?) : "Another week, Another modded car. Whatcha' got this time..?JAYCE : "The classic o' Civic with a laptop!"(?) : "Now that's wild. How much you got this for..?"JAYCE : "95K Yen~ It was a sweet deal!"(?) : "Lucky bastard. You tuned this old crap?"JAYCE : "Why the fuck would I not tune it?"(?) : "Can't lie.. It's pretty bland, No body kit? No wrap? Looks like a dad car."JAYCE : "Alright, alright. —While Jayce and someone Vinne doesn't know have a conversation.. Vinne just sat behind them on the front of the car.. Till suddenly a girl approached him.

—Jayce sees his friend talking to Vinne.. He laughs quickly before immediately interrupting the two.

—While they were talking.. The host arrives in a Mercedes Sprinter Van where they step out of the sliding doors and announces that they've arrived.
(?) : Racers of Yokohama! Your host is here!ETHER : "Well.. Here we go.."JAYCE : "Hopefully I got enough cash for this business punk.."ERINA : "Richie.."VINNE :-He looks deadass.. familiar..-(?) : "Before we start, The route will start from the city hall passing through the Marine Tower and Yamashita park all the way to the Yokohama Bay! I've rented and closed off the areas on the road meaning racers will not need to worry about Police and cops."JAYCE :-Seems far from here.. Guessing we gotta' switch locations..-(?) : "Forgot to tell ya'll my name, My name is Bron Takuda. All of you should probably already know that I'm a business man but that doesn't matter."BRON : "For tonight's race, I'll need about 4 contestants who can bet about 60K to 75K Yen. Raise your hands, Racers!"
—Immediately, A few people in the Car meet raised their hands.. while Jayce approached Bron and puts down his stack of Yen on Bron's shoulders.. letting him know that Jayce is immediately in.
BRON : "1 out of 4!"
—3 of the people from the crowd comes out and approaches Bron to put down their money to volunteer for the race..One having a Purple Toyota Supra MK4One with a Toyota GR86And one with a Honda S2000.
BRON : "Seems like we've gotten all our racers, all racers for tonight must prepare and head to the Yokohama City Hall Building. And as for the spectators.. All can watch from the side."
—Everyone began to drive their way to the City Hall for the race.. All leaving the parking lot.
JAYCE : "You comin'?"VINNE : "Y- Yea.."
—Vinne enters Jayce's Car..
JAYCE : "Bro you good? You been quiet."VINNE : "Ehh.. It felt awkward. Feels like I'm a new guy there."JAYCE : "Technically, you are."VINNE : "Hahaha.. True, but.. it just felt awkward.JAYCE : "Nah.. You'll get used to it."
—They arrive at the city hall where all 4 cars aligns at middle of the street preparing for their race.. All roaring their cars by reving their engines.
JAYCE : "YO VINNY! STAY WITH ETHER AND ERINA! Just watch along the side, okay?"VINNE : "YEAH YEAH! SHUT UP! I DONT NEED NO BABY SITTER!"
—All the racers were ready.. Bron on the side..
BRON : "READY UP! The path is simple, From here on theCity Hall, to Bashamichi Station, going through Kaigon Dori St., through Yamashita Park, Hotel New Grand and Marine Tower, across the Yamashita Bridge, and all the way toYokohama Bay."
BRON : "Good luck Racers! Remember, No Crashing."
—Everyone was confident in the race.. Ready to win the prize money they've bet on.
BRON : "READY?"
—Immediately, All 4 racers roared their engines..
BRON : "SET!"BRON : "GO!"
—The race began. All the cars went through Bashamichi Station. Jayce immediately switching to 2nd Gear, initiated the handbrake, and putting little to no throttle on the pedal performing a drift on the sharp turn before immediately balancing his steering wheel as he enters Kaigon Dori St The Supra MK4 was behind him performing the same thing while the other 2, The S2000 and GR86 went straight to Minato Min 21 Line St.
—Jayce, who was in Kaigon Don St. took the lead right behind the Supra MK4 The S2000 and GR86, who was in Minato Mirai 21 Line St. was still catching up as they were on a completely different road which is much more wider than Kaigon Dori St. The GR86 took the 3rd position as they performed an overtake on the 52000 as they failed to switch gears at the right time making the S2000 drive stall and slow down.From there. The road was straight in Kaigon Dori St. as Jayce and the Supra MR4 driver as it was empty as this was the main road for the race and the one Bron closed off. For the S2000 and GR86 driver. They were on a busy road as they have to keep overtaking the cars infront of them to catch up.
—At the point on, Jayce and the Supra MK4 driver had already passed Kanagawa Kenmin Hall and Yamashita park and are both approaching the Marin Tower. While the S2000 and GR86 driver was still way behind due to so many cars on their way that they need in overtake but they're beginning to approach the tum entering to Kaigon Dori St., the GR86 driver immediately slows down and switches to 3rd Gear initiating the pull of the hand brake, and steers their wheel towards the left to perform a drift, same thing performed by the S2000 driver from behind as they approach Kaigon Don St and soon to approach Kanagawa Kenmin Hall.
— Jayce and the Supra MK4 driver passes by the Marine Tower and the Doll Museum and both are about to approach the road under an elevated road and train track.After passing by the road under the elevated road and train track, Jayce and the GR86 driver notices the GR86 and S2000 racers approaching behind them, Jayce was ready as he knows this will be a harder challenge to maintain his position as overtakes are easy to perform in this wider road.Out of nowhere, the GR86 immediately overtakes the Supra MK4 taking the Supra driver's position of 2nd. The road here is pretty wide making overtakes easier and harder to maintain their current position.
—The S2000 was about to attempt an overtake on the Supra MK4, luckily the Supra's driver noticed this from his side mirror and immediately blocked his opening.. This happened a few times keeping the Supra MK4's position as 3rd for a while as they continued to block any opening the S2000 driver tries to enter.They road here was just a straight line and only 1 turn left towards the finish line.. As they approach the last turn, Jayce performs a flawless and perfect drift on the sharp turn and balances his steering almost immediately, the GR86 performed a simple quick turn by slowly steering the wheel onto the left and immediately performing a full hard left to swiftly turn, the Supra MK4 on the other hand tried to perform a drift but slips off too far off the turn giving their position to the S2000 driver which performs a swiift drift with the use of it's 3rd Gear and brake pedals.
—They've reached the last area of the race's road.. where Jayce is taking the lead as he gaps them all quickly with his Tuned Civic EG Hatchback with a laptop to know his throttle and speed informations, the GR86 catches up but not that close enough to be able to be right behind Jayce as the other two catches up quickly behind the GR86 racer.The road here is small and can only fit one car making them form a line.. But this didn't stop the S2000 driver to attempt an overtake as they speed up to match the GR86 and to approach them from the side.. Though this caused the side of the S2000 to scratch and be dented as the driver is squeezing themselves in, after all that.. they still somehow took the 2nd position at the cost of a few damage on their car.
—Jayce quickly goes on full throttle and reaches the finish line in no time, alongside the S2000 taking 2nd with a few scratches and dents on it's right side.. The GR86 taking 3rd, and the Supra MK4 taking last.Everyone of the spectators were waiting at the finish line as they celebrated Jayce's win.
ETHER : "Expected."ERINA : "PAPI JAY-CEE! YOU'RE GETTING A SHOUTOUT!"VINNE : "Never thought this fucker would actually be good.."
—All the racers steps out of their vehicle.. Except for the Supra MK4 driver.
JAYCE : "Damn.. Good race ya'll!"S2K D. : "Ggs.. Costed me a few dents and scratches for 2nd place.."GR86 D. : "You really dented and scratched your shit to still lose.."S2K D. : "Fuck off.."
—The Supra MK4 driver didn't even say anything as they were mad and furious after performing an embarassing drift and being overtaken..
BRON : "Congrats to all the racers for tonight!"
—Bron hands Jayce a whole suitcase of money, Two stacks of cash to the S2000 driver, and one stack of cash for both the GR86 driver and Supra MK4 driver.
BRON : "Even if you 3 still lost, these will be your prize money for participating and doing great for tonight's race."
