Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

Pushing heavy thoughts aside, Kenshin fetched a chair and a wrench and began unscrewing the tank fastenings. After five minutes of grumbling, he somehow unscrewed all the fastenings and removed the lower part of the tank. Lowering it down, he began measuring the scale by eye and making notes for the future formation.

With the acquisition of knowledge on creating formations, he first of all acquired knowledge of blueprints, as if he had been doing only that for several years, but although his basic knowledge of creating formations was at the highest level, he lacked muscle memory, and unforeseen errors could occur.

Having calculated the scale and outlined the plan for the upcoming work, Kenshin nodded to himself and climbed down, beginning to apply runes to the lower part of the tank. He approached the task very meticulously and painstakingly, and the drawing on the lower part of the tank took him about fifteen minutes. Setting the finished part aside, he climbed up again and began even more carefully drawing runes on the inside of the second part of the tank. This part of the work took him twice as long, and by the end sweat was pouring from the young man, and his arms refused to rise upward, but the young man forced himself and still finished the work.

In a few minutes he screwed the lower part of the tank back into place, drew an unknown symbol on the outside, and the runes inside the tank glowed with a bluish light, then went out.

"Seems I did everything correctly, and there shouldn't be any mistakes. If I screw up the simplest water heating formation, taking on anything more complicated will be very dangerous…" Kenshin muttered thoughtfully, hoping that the formation had worked, but he could only check it in half an hour. The formation drew in surrounding world energy and converted it into heat, heating the water inside the tank to eighty degrees Celsius, then operated in passive mode, preventing the water from cooling.

Kenshin stretched his stiff shoulders and left the bathroom. Entering the living room, he saw Aya sitting on the floor near the bookshelf, holding an open book and quietly giggling. Noticing the young man, she turned to face him and said:

"Kenshin, look what funny books are here! An old couple decided to bake bread, but the dough came to life and ran away from them! Ha-ha-ha, and then a fox ate it! But foxes don't eat bread… Or do they?" Aya muttered thoughtfully, stopping laughing.

The young man approached her, gently stroked her head, and asked: "Can you read?"

"Mm-hm, but poorly. Grandfather taught me a little. As a child he told me many fairy tales about the progenitor of chakra, the Sage of Six Paths, and about the god of shinobi—Hashirama Senju. But I think it's all lies. Shinobi are strong, but they can't create the moon or grow an entire forest!"

Kenshin sat down beside her, gently hugged her, and kissed the back of her head. "They can, and more. Perhaps our children with you will become even stronger than the First Hokage or even the Sage of Six Paths…"

"What? Children? But neither you nor I are shinobi, how can our children become that strong? And even if they do, by then we'll be deep old people…" Aya muttered with a sigh.

"Well… Actually, you're already pregnant…" Kenshin said, and before he could continue, Aya cried out in shock:

"WHAT?! But—" and was immediately interrupted by Kenshin.

"Be quiet, let me finish," the young man said, and Aya instantly fell silent. He realised he had accidentally used the "command tone", so he hugged the girl, pulled her to him, and whispered in her ear:

"Don't ask what's going on. I can't tell you everything, but you're pregnant and will give birth in two weeks." As soon as he finished, Aya sharply turned around and stared at the young man in shock.

"Don't ask. You mustn't know, for your own good," Kenshin said with a sigh and pulled the girl to him again, kissing her tender cherry lips.

They began kissing passionately, and half a minute later Aya finally relaxed and began enjoying battling tongues with her beloved man. Kenshin gave free rein to his hands and began gently stroking her back, moving his right hand forward and grabbing her small but perfect breast, pinching the nipple. The girl moaned tenderly into his mouth and began stroking the young man's muscular chest, enjoying the relief of his pectoral muscles.

A few minutes later Kenshin broke the kiss and said: "Uuuuf, enough. We have a lot to do, we'll have fun later. Come on, I'll show you something."

As soon as they entered the bathroom, Aya quietly gasped, covering her mouth with her small palm. "Oh god, what is this?" she muttered, staring at the large bathtub at the end of the room. She couldn't resist stroking the smooth tiled wall, wondering what these magnificent walls were made of.

The girl had been to the hot springs of Konoha and other places several times but had never seen such smooth and shiny walls; she thought that such magnificent walls probably existed only in the bathrooms of high-ranking officials or powerful shinobi.

"This is our bathroom with you. Look…" Kenshin said and took shower gel from the shelf, opened it, and held it to the girl's face.

She sniffed and sharply opened her eyes: "Mmm, it smells so good… Even the perfume of rich ladies doesn't smell as good as this. Where did you get these perfumes?" Aya asked with interest, inhaling the scent, squinting her cute nose.

"This isn't perfume, it's shower gel. It's for washing your beautiful body," Kenshin said tenderly and ran his right hand down the girl's back, squeezing her small, firm ass.

"Aaah! No wonder I fell in love with you, Nakayama Kenshin. You're a real flatterer!" Aya purred and pressed herself against him with her whole body. The young man was pleased by her confession and gently hugged her, then introduced the inquisitive beauty to various hygiene items, starting with toothpaste and ending with shampoo, a razor, and aftershave lotion.

"Hm, I'll have to apply a small formation to the razor so the blades don't dull," the young man thought, then moved on to the main "miracle".

"Come here, look," he said. "This is a tap for water. Here, you lift this thing up, and voilà—water flows. Turn it left—only cold water flows. Right—only hot. Adjust as you like. Here, try it," Kenshin said and stepped aside a little.

"No way! Now we don't have to carry a bunch of buckets of water and heat it on the stove for a long time? Wonderful! Oh god, every time I think I've seen everything—you surprise me again and again, shattering my ideas about the world…"

"You'll be surprised more than once, dear," Kenshin said, hugging her from behind and beginning to unbutton her shirt. "And now let's freshen up a bit."
