Chapter 16 - Awakening of Ultra Instinct Within Darkness

The aftermath of the Korea tournament still lingered in the air, but Leo's mind was nowhere near calm. The villain had vanished, the arena cleared, yet something inside him stirred—a force he had never fully felt before. His eyes flickered with a strange light, and it wasn't golden. No, this was dark white, a chaotic energy flowing from within, an Ultra Instinct awakening that seemed almost sentient.

Leo (thinking, annoyed, humorous tone): "What the hell… Ultra Instinct, and it's only in my eyes?! Writer… are you seriously insane? If you actually come here, you'll destroy the entire story!"

Inside him, his spirit beast—his guardian and source of power—stirred, radiating an aura that mirrored his dark white energy.

Spirit Beast: "Calm down, Leo. If the writer gets involved, chaos will be uncontrollable. Focus. Your speed, your senses… use them."

Leo (shouting, yelling at the writer): "Calm down? Hmph! Writer, are you listening?! Insane! Ultra Instinct is here, but only in my eyes? WHAT KIND OF JOKE IS THIS?! Did I sign up for some school festival or an actual apocalypse?!"

The darkness around him swirled, shadows bending unnaturally as if the arena itself recognized the awakening within Leo. The crowd, scattered now, could feel a strange pressure—even if they couldn't see him—but the aura also had a slightly comical vibe, because Leo was busy arguing with the writer inside his own mind.

Spirit Beast (sarcastically): "Yes, yes… your Ultra Instinct is limited to the eyes for now. Slowly understand how dangerous this can be."

Leo (thinking, exaggerating): "Dangerous? Ha! I'll take the writer along if anyone wants to test me… and this dark aura? Perfect. Forget golden auras, this dark white chaos suits me. Absolutely chaotic… and funny."

Gradually, Leo started controlling the Ultra Instinct, each movement precise yet still carrying a trace of his sarcastic personality. Even the shadows seemed to respond, bending around him unnaturally, giving the arena an almost surreal, comic-but-intense feel.

Leo (yelling at the writer again): "Writer… you hear me?! If you dare interfere here, I swear I'll rewrite the entire universe myself! Understood?! UNDERSTOOD?!"

The spirit beast chuckled, watching Leo's chaotic awakening with amusement.

Spirit Beast: "Finally… you're ready. But remember, Leo: this power isn't just in your eyes. It flows from your entire being. The control is in your hands, not just your brain."

Leo (grinning, muttering): "Yeah, yeah… and writer… better keep your hands off the next scene, or else. Universe, meet chaos!"

The dark white aura stabilized slightly, radiating around Leo. His Ultra Instinct fully awakened—not golden, not subtle, but raw, chaotic, and funny. It distorted the arena's shadows, warping the air, creating an almost surreal battlefield for whatever would come next.

Narration:

"And so, Leo's Ultra Instinct awakened—inside his eyes, through his dark white aura, chaotic yet strangely humorous. The awakening was complete. And the writer, trapped in Leo's mind, could only tremble at

what was about to unfold next."
