Veronica's POV
"Miss Veronica, what a coincidence!" Lachlan's voice caught my attention. He'd been planning to reach out later, but here we were, bumping into each other unexpectedly.
"Lachlan, this is surprising. Here for dinner as well?" I responded, genuinely taken aback by running into him.
"Yes, brought the family for a meal and I'm accompanying my father to an art exhibition," Lachlan explained.
"Elder Philip will be there too?" I inquired.
"My father heard Master O'Donavan would appear at today's exhibition. He's eager to meet him," Lachlan answered.
This piqued my interest. "Is Elder Philip looking to acquire some of O'Donavan's pieces?"
"Actually, my father specializes in realism, but he has deep appreciation for Impressionism, particularly O'Donavan's style," Lachlan clarified.
I nodded, understanding his explanation. Still, something felt off about Master O'Donavan's supposed attendance at this exhibition.
