Veronica's POV
After dinner, the three of us headed straight to NO.8 Elysian. Juliette grabbed my diamond card and slammed it onto the counter with dramatic flair.
"Listen up! I want your most luxurious VIP room! Plus, bring us all your finest food and drinks! And get us the hottest guys you've got to wait on us!"
Juliette was already tipsy from dinner, and though she thought she was walking with confidence, she was actually swaying sideways like a ship in rough waters.
The desk clerk looked her up and down, clearly questioning whether she understood what she was asking for.
"Miss, we'll provide the VIP room with our standard refreshments and snacks as usual. Here's your room key—please keep it safe."
"Hey! Did you not hear me? I said I want gorgeous men!"
"What kind of... handsome men were you hoping for?"
The clerk's tone made his meaning crystal clear: "Lady, maybe check a mirror before making demands like that."
"Those... those guys right there!"
