Based on intel from my team, lan was currently living it up at some nightclub called the The Gilded Elysian. I pulled my hair back tight, threw on a wig, and slipped into black clothes that made me look like some mysterious guy—cold, intimidating, with an edge that could cut glass. The whole look screamed danger wrapped in righteousness, making it damn near impossible to tell if I was male or female.
We rolled up to the The Gilded Elysian, hunting for lan—that bastard who had the nerve to set me up last time.
Today, I was here to collect what he owed me.
