Chapter 71 - Chapter 71 The Battle Ends

The sea wind howled as the massive warship rocked violently amidst the waves beneath an overcast sky. The deck was thick with the smell of blood, and amidst the flashing blades, a brutal battle raged.

Raizo keenly spotted an opening in Morris's movements. His hands swiftly formed seals as he muttered, "Ninja Art: Binding Technique!" In an instant, Morris's body became bound by invisible chains, his limbs stiffening as he froze in place.

A cold glint flashed in Raizo's eyes as he flicked his wrist, sending a poisoned shuriken cutting through the air straight toward Morris's throat.

At that critical moment, a dark red blade light flashed. With a sharp "clang," the shuriken was precisely deflected.

Raizo's pupils contracted sharply as he stared at the suddenly appearing demonic longsword, exclaiming in disbelief, "What is this? King of Hell?!"

Indeed, at the brink of death, King had arrived just in time wielding the Meito Enma, saving Morris. His tall figure cast a long shadow across the deck, his black wings slightly unfurled, radiating suffocating pressure.

King had been flying overhead monitoring Ashura Doji's group to prevent any mishaps, which allowed him the opportunity to save Morris.

"So it's you, King!" Raizo gritted his teeth, fine beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "This was all your scheme! Where is Lord Oden? What are you plotting?!"

King's voice was piercingly cold: "Want to see him? Go search in hell." Before the words faded, his figure had already ghosted behind Raizo. A flash of blade light, and a hair-thin crimson line appeared on Raizo's neck before his head tumbled onto the deck, blood spraying forth.

"Raizo!" Ashura Doji roared upon witnessing this, forcibly creating distance despite taking a punch from Bullet. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but he paid it no mind. He gripped his longsword tightly, his knuckles turning white from the force.

"Lord Raizo!" "Raizo!" The other samurai cried out in anguish, but were quickly overwhelmed by the swarming pirates.

The deck was filled with the sounds of clashing blades and pained groans.

"King, you Beasts Pirates have some nerve!" Ashura Doji's eyes nearly burst with rage as he pointed his sword at King, his voice trembling with fury.

King sneered, his cold voice emanating from beneath the black mask: "So what if we do? None of you will leave here alive today." He turned to Bullet and said, "If you can't handle this, I'll take over."

"Heh heh, this is my prey," Bullet grinned ferociously as he flexed his muscles, veins bulging on his thick arms. He lunged at Ashura Doji again, each punch carrying mountain-splitting force.

"Kin'emon! Kikunojo! Kanjuro!" Ashura Doji shouted orders while parrying Bullet's storm-like assault. His voice sounded particularly tragic amidst the chaotic battlefield: "Find a way to break through! Lord Oden may have already been killed! You must inform Lord Sukiyaki about Kaidou's conspiracy!"

"Damn it!" Kikunojo had been searching for an opportunity upon hearing Ashura Doji's words, but the opponent before her wouldn't let her leave easily. Suddenly, her gaze fell upon Kanjuro, who was battling several pirate underlings.

Kikunojo gritted her teeth and endured Gavin's two slashes, using the momentum to rush to Kurozumi Kanjuro's side. The katana in her hand traced an elegant arc, cutting several pirates in half at the waist.

"Kanjuro, run! You're the only one who can break through now!" She stood with her back to Kanjuro, adopting a defensive stance as blood continuously seeped from her wounds.

Strangely, Gavin didn't press his advantage but instead crossed his arms with a cold sneer, his eyes flashing with an eerie light.

Just as Kikunojo was puzzling over this, she suddenly heard a chilling voice from behind: "Ink Arrows!" Dozens of ink droplets transformed into sharp arrows that instantly pierced through her back. Kikunojo's body shuddered violently as she turned her head in disbelief: "Kanjuro... you..."

"Kiku?!" Kin'emon caught this scene from the corner of his eye, his voice distorted with shock and fury, "Kanjuro, what are you doing?!"

Before his words faded, a pale blade flash swept before his eyes. Kin'emon felt a chill at his neck before collapsing heavily into a pool of blood. Moria played with his blood-dripping longsword, emitting a piercing laugh: "Yee-hee-hee, getting distracted during battle isn't good~"

"Boom!" With a tremendous crash, Ashura Doji was sent flying by Bullet's punch, crashing through three ship decks before stopping. Wood splinters flew everywhere as dust filled the air. By now, no living samurai remained on the deck - even those who tried to escape by jumping into the sea were torn to pieces by the ambushing Fish-man troops.

Severed limbs floated on the sea surface, dyeing the water dark red.

"Cough... cough..." Ashura Doji struggled to crawl out from the wreckage, covered in blood. His armor had shattered, revealing gruesome wounds beneath. He stared fixedly at Kurozumi Kanjuro, his voice hoarse: "So that's it, Kanjuro. You're the traitor behind all this!"

"Hahahaha!" Kurozumi Kanjuro suddenly burst into mad laughter, his face contorted and eyes flashing with insanity, "Correct! All of this is for revenge!"

"Revenge?" Ashura Doji coughed up blood, his eyes filled with confusion. He tried to support himself and stand up, but his legs no longer obeyed him.

"Yes! The Kurozumi family's revenge!" Kurozumi Kanjuro's voice echoed across the deck, "My true name is - Kurozumi Kanjuro!"

"So that's how it is..." Ashura Doji smiled bitterly, finally understanding everything. He looked up at the gloomy sky as rain mixed with blood streamed down his face. However, before he could speak again, Bullet's heavy fist came crashing down!

"Bang!"

Blood splattered as Ashura Doji's head exploded under the tremendous force, his headless body slowly collapsing. Bullet shook the blood from his hand, revealing a cruel smile.

Kurozumi Kanjuro stood in the pool of blood, a twisted smile on his face as blood dripped from his clothes. He looked up at King and asked hoarsely: "What's next? Should we destroy the ship and return directly to Wano Country?"

"There's still unfinished business." King replied coldly, his right hand already resting on the hilt of the King of Hell.

Just as Kurozumi Kanjuro was about to speak, he suddenly felt the world spinning. His vision flipped through the air, the last image he saw being his own headless body slowly collapsing. Blood gushed like a fountain from his neck, staining the deck red.

"Destroy the ships now, we're returning to Wano Country." King flicked the blood droplets off his King of Hell blade, his voice terrifyingly calm.

"Yes!" The surrounding pirates responded in unison, their voices filled with awe.

King sheathed the King of Hell, his black wings gently swaying in the wind. He coldly scanned the corpses littering the ground before turning back to the pirate ship, then directly set the Wano Country vessel ablaze.
