"She can handle alcohol," Jacob said coldly, his voice like ice. "I've seen her drink before."
His eyes narrowed dangerously.
"Go check what was in those two drinks. Both of them. Have them analyzed. Now."
Ethan froze, understanding dawning. "President Cross… are you suggesting Miss Anna Ran drugged them?"
Jacob's jaw tightened further, a muscle ticking.
"No," he said firmly after a moment. "She wouldn't be that foolish."
