Jacob pressed her against the wall with both hands on either side of her head, not giving her a chance to escape, his expression thunderous.
"Say that again," he growled dangerously.
"No matter how many times you make me say it, it won't change the fact that you're a narcissistic weirdo!" Lily accused, her voice muffled by her hands. "Who DOES that?!"
"STUPID WOMAN!" Jacob practically roared, punching the wall beside her head in frustration—the sound echoing in the rose-petal-covered room.
"These pictures aren't mine! I didn't take them! I didn't PUT them there!"
He took a shaking breath, trying to control his temper.
"My Grandpa had someone photoshop them and plaster them in there as some kind of... romantic gesture or... I DON'T EVEN KNOW!"
[I'm going to die. I'm going to actually die of embarrassment. My own grandpa betrayed me.]
"Photoshopped?" Lily's hands dropped slowly, her expression shifting from accusatory to shocked. "Wait... your grandpa did this?"
