Villages raided. The smell of fresh air replaced by murky fumes. The unthinkable happened, civilization was overruled by mythical creatures. Creatures that mortals thought were a hoax, vampires. Although if you had the misfortune of calling them such, your blood would taint their fangs before your next word. They called themselves the Carnivrai, overcoming any and every obstacle in its path and worse of all, turning humans into slaves. Of course, the Carnivari weren't the only creatures to come forth, humanoid animals who possessed wild traits ranging from the hearing of a hound dog to super speed as well as fairies who had spells for almost everything. Humans had truly shrunk to the bottom of the food chain, turned to nothing more than slaves on leashes doing labor til the day they die.
Within the mist of this chaos, a group of survivors had fled to a bunker. These survivors are known as the prestigious Ellingstone's group. They'd stayed in the bunker til the chaos died out, till swords stop clashing , til the blood chilling screams had ceased. The sight they saw sent shivers down their spines, humans lined up, beat to bloody pulps all connected to each other by tight crystal clear chains. A thick block that covered their wrist leaving little to no space for them to even move their arms. They walked farther than the eye could see, thus a sight terrified the survivors, enough to go into hiding. These survivors had fled to a bunker and lived there for 16 years since the incident. Since the Eternal Maw had taken over the entirety of the world. Unfortunately the survivors luck had dwindled dry, the bunker caved in killing half of what mortals were left. The man, the great Ryuzuki Ellingstone had taken stand and guided the group to forests to gather food and supplements. Luckily, nature had blessed Ryuzuki Ellingstone, he was led to a large land big enough to fit a village. The land was surrounded by an ocean, circling the land. That acted as border. Nature's gift some might say, as well as opposing the island hills and forests needed to be crossed to reach such land. Ryuzuki guided the group down the forests, and had helped make a bridge to the island. The Island now known as Ellingstone.
50 Years have passed since the founding of Ellingstone, the people established a hierarchy within this time. Ryuzuki, or anyone blood related to him will be king or next in line. Ryuzuki's group members will be noblemen, since they did play a part in helping the great' Ryzuki. Although, no stories or names of the people have ever been brought up in these stories. Anyone who could read or write were citizens, along with merchants. Anyone who could do neither of these were treated as homeless and looked down upon.
