When they finished catching up, Ember decided it was time for them to go to the Forge. This was where they needed to go to create the neural network. This was a function the CE had. Though they had never really been able to use it before.
To make things in the forge, it needs the right material. These materials are things they may not necessarily have. The entire reason they were eager to get the zombie brain stem is because of the forge.
They made their way to the forge. On the way, they passed Cassandra, Luka, and Alen. Luka was holding Cassandra close to him, trying to ignore Alen. Alen was obviously too close for Luka's comfort.
Ember laughed a little, seeing this. She shook her head as they walked past.
The design was simple. If they hadn't known the room was called the Forge, they may have overlooked it. It was a simple chamber with a large platform. Ember walked up the platform to get the things out of the space.
