Every one of them was a major figure in this world. When people like that focused their attention on something, the system responded aggressively.

Aquaman.
Just their meeting alone had produced thousands of system points.
Apparently Sasori's fight had left quite the impression.
Which meant the system was rewarding me heavily.
I opened the mission report Sasori had submitted earlier.

Superman was extremely dangerous.
Physically overwhelming.
Almost impossible to fight directly without kryptonite.
Batman and Wonder Woman working together had made the situation far worse.
Sasori had only survived by sacrificing puppet after puppet as shields.
Eventually he would have run out.
And once that happened…
Even a puppet master like Sasori would have been overwhelmed.
That was why I had ordered his retreat.

I closed the report.

A long list of familiar names appeared.

Two summoning circles formed in the center of the chamber.
Dark chakra rippled across the floor.
The first figure appeared quietly.
Black hair.
Calm red eyes.
A black cloak decorated with red clouds.
Itachi Uchiha opened his eyes slowly.
Beside him, a much larger figure materialized.
Blue skin.
Shark-like grin.
Massive muscular build.
Kisame Hoshigaki.
Kisame stretched his arms slightly as he looked around the room.
"Well now… this isn't the Akatsuki hideout I remember."
Itachi said nothing.
He simply observed the room silently.
I activated a genjutsu.
Information flowed directly into their minds.
This world.
Modern technology.
The Justice League.
Meta-humans.
When the genjutsu ended, Kisame scratched his head slightly.
"So we've been brought to another world."
"Correct," I said calmly.
Itachi looked directly at me.
His expression remained unreadable.
"You brought us here."
"Yes."
Kisame grinned widely.
"Sounds fun."
I nodded slightly.
"This world has powerful enemies."
Itachi finally spoke again.
"Like the ones Sasori encountered."
"Yes."
Itachi's Sharingan spun slowly.
"Understood."
I signaled toward the entrance of the chamber.
A White Zetsu clone emerged from the floor.
"This one will guide you."
Kisame grabbed his massive sword from his back.
"Already sending us out?"
"There are missions available."
Kisame's grin widened.
"Perfect."
Itachi simply nodded.
Without another word, the two of them followed the Zetsu clone toward the exit tunnels of the base.
The chamber became quiet again.
I leaned back in my chair.
Now the Akatsuki roster looked far more complete.
Nagato.
Konan.
Yahiko.
Orochimaru.
Zetsu.
Kakuzu.
Sasori.
And now—
Itachi and Kisame.
Nine powerful members.
Not even counting the Six Paths of Pain.
And the system points were still flowing.
The Justice League was investigating.
Governments were starting to notice.
Criminal organizations were whispering about us.
Which meant one thing.
Every time someone wondered who the Akatsuki were…
