After Rowan chased Owen away, he sat down to untie the knots the beastman had made, trying to figure out how to handle the messy pile of rattan.
He had never done manual crafts before; his fingers, which were accustomed to holding guns and controlling machinery, now became clumsy before these stubborn rattan vines. Although he tried to recall Owen's movements, the knots just kept getting tangled up, following no pattern whatsoever. By the time Owen finished cooking dinner and returned, Rowan still hadn't managed to weave it back together. Looking at the distorted product in his hand, he decided to completely give up and stop making things difficult for himself.
