Owen stepped outside to catch the cold breeze for a while. The chill of late night helped clear his mind; he suppressed his frustration and lust to the bottom of his heart.
But when he raised his arm to sniff carefully, his body was covered in Rowan's cedarwood scent. The scent had seeped deep into his skin. He utterly collapsed, feeling aroused again, his lower body beginning to stir.
He hesitated at the entrance of the cave, pacing back and forth, not knowing whether to enter or not. But on the issue of top and bottom, he would not compromise; this was the dignity of a male. No matter how much he indulged and loved Rowan, he could not yield on this.
Owen was very principled, but he still couldn't rest easy leaving Rowan alone in the dark cave in an unstable mental state. He was afraid Rowan would hurt himself. He pushed aside his dark thoughts for a moment and decided to go in.
