Seeing that Tania was about to cry again, Rowan sighed inwardly, swallowing the harsher words he had prepared.

"Alright, stop crying. Wait for your wolf to come back, then go home soon. We're only stopping for a short while."

Although their interaction hadn't been long, Tania's excessive enthusiasm made Rowan, who was used to cold military discipline, feel a bit reluctant to be harsh.

Thinking that he and Owen were about to leave this place, with the journey ahead long and uncertain, and they might never meet again, there was no need to rush in this moment. He decided to indulge Tania a little.

"I knew you were the best! Let's sit down and talk for a bit." Tania stopped crying immediately, his eyes still watery but his mouth grinning widely, happily trying to pull Rowan's hand again.

Rowan evaded the touch without leaving a trace, walking to a large flat rock in front, lightly brushing off the thin layer of dust on it, and said: "Yeah, sit down."
