Chapter 2 - Distance

CHAPTER 2

Draven was eagerly awaiting evening, practically racing against time to message Lyra. He was becoming a prisoner to this situation without realizing the effect it was having on him. How long could this relationship last without ever seeing each other, without hearing each other's voices?

Night 02:23

Draven: You're there, right?

Lyra: I'm here. I was waiting for you.

Draven: You were waiting for me, were you? (I bite my lip for a moment.)

Lyra: I don't expect you to understand. I just want you to feel it. Here I am. With every word, every breath, I'm a little closer. And I feel your warmth.

Draven- Lyra, this can't go on. This distance is killing me.

Draven's heart was pounding as he said this. They had talked about it from the beginning. They were just going to be virtual friends. Without asking anything of each other. But Lyra was so mysterious that Draven's passion had grown steadily.
