Chapter 71 – Fight Continue

"So you still have some strength left," Chew said. "I'll kill you, then wipe out this village. Then I will also kill your captain!"

That was the final straw.

Kaya's anger exploded. She didn't care about the pain anymore. No one was allowed to insult her captain. Lily didn't even cross her mind—Alex was her captain, and that was all that mattered.

Chew inhaled deeply. "Continuous water bullet."

A rapid barrage of compressed water fired from his mouth like a machine gun. The shots hammered into Kaya relentlessly—her head, chest, stomach, legs and feet. The repeated impacts created clouds of steam and mist around her body.

Chew was panting after such a heavy attack. Exhaustion was evident on his face, but he had a twisted smile as if he had done a good job.

"Are you dead?"

The smoke slowly cleared.

Kaya was still standing.

She had somehow dodged his attack. Her posture was steady, her eyes calm. There wasn't a single new wound on her body.

'Did she awakened Observation Haki?'

I was somewhat surprised that she had dodged an attack. I thought she had awakened her Observation Haki. But I decided to think about it later.

Before Chew could react, Kaya vanished from where she stood and appeared in front of him. Her fist slammed into his stomach with overwhelming force. Blood sprayed from his mouth as his body folded forward.

She didn't stop.

Her second punch crashed into his face, snapping his head back and sending him flying straight into the pool.

Chew hit the water hard, his face crushed, his internal organs screaming in agony. He struggled weakly for a moment before his body went completely limp.

Whether he was alive or dead… no one knew.

Kuina noticed that Kaya had already finished her battle. Seeing this, she decided it was time to end hers as well.

"So, octopus," Kuina said coldly, raising her sword, "are you ready to die like your friends?"

"My name is Hachi," the Fishman growled, gripping his weapons tightly. "And I'm going to cut you down."

"Then hurry up," Kuina replied. "I'll slice you apart first."

She leapt forward, her blade clashing against Hachi's swords. Hachi also attacked relentlessly. He was swinging all eight blades in rapid succession.

Kuina moved smoothly. She was dodging and blocking each strike with precise movements. Her expression was calm and focused as she continued the battle.

It was expected, as she was a bounty hunter and had countless fights before.

Hachi pressed the attack harder. This time he was spinning his arms wildly.

"Eight-Sword Style: Kill Bill!"

Blades flashed in every direction as he tried to overwhelm her. Kuina narrowly avoided most of the strikes, though one blade managed to graze her shoulder, leaving a shallow scratch.

Her eyes sharpened.

"That's enough. I am going to be serious now. Try not to die quickly!!"

Kuina stepped in with overwhelming force, her intent clear—she would finish this quickly.

"One-Sword Style: Onigiri."

"What—?" Hachi barely had time to react.

He raised his swords to block, but the difference in strength was undeniable. Kuina's attack shattered his defense, sending him flying backward. He slammed into the wall with a heavy crash, a deep gash torn across his chest. Blood spilled freely as he slid down the wall.

Hachi muttered something under his breath before losing consciousness completely.

Watching from the side, I wasn't surprised in the least. In the original story, Zoro had defeated Hachi despite being badly injured after his fight with Mihawk.

Kuina was already stronger than Zoro, and after taking the potion, her physical strength had increased even further. Her victory was inevitable.

Meanwhile, inside the damaged building, Lily and Arlong were locked in a fierce exchange.

Lily drove her fist into Arlong's stomach. Arlong retaliated instantly, smashing his fist into her face. Both of them staggered back, neither willing to yield.

"When I'm done with you," Arlong snarled, "I'll slaughter every human in this village."

"I'm going to kick your ass," Lily shot back.

She stretched her arm back and launched her attack.

"Gomu Gomu no… Jet Bazooka!"

Arlong reacted instantly. He dodged her blow by a hair's breadth.

Boom!!

The force of the missed attack shattered part of the structure behind him.

Arlong rushed forward, his face twisting into a vicious grin. He thrust his nose forward like a blade, attempting to impale Lily. The attacks came fast and sharp, but Lily dodged repeatedly, narrowly avoiding each strike.

As Arlong lunged again, Lily grabbed his nose mid-attack and swung him with brutal force, hurling him straight into the wall of the building.

"Gomu Gomu no… Super Strong Pistol!"

Arlong barely managed to evade at the last second and immediately counterattacked, the two of them crashing back into combat once more.

The fight between them was far from over.

"Shark on Darts!!"

Lily narrowly avoided the first charge. The sharp tip of his nose had sliced through the air where her head had been a moment earlier.

"Shark on Darts!"

Arlong roared again as he torpedoed forward. This time, Lily wasn't fast enough.

His attack pierced her shoulder, and a sharp pain exploded through her body as Arlong's nose lodged deep into her flesh.

Alex was about to move, but Lily acted first.

Ignoring the pain, she grabbed Arlong by the nose, yanked it free, and twisted it violently. With a snarl, she bent it upward before hurling him across the building once more.

Arlong crashed into the far wall and rolled to his feet, clutching his nose.

"You bitch," he snarled, fury burning in his eyes.

His nose was bent grotesquely upward, but with a sickening crack, he straightened it back into place.

"You're tough," Lily admitted, wiping blood from her shoulder, "but you hurt my navigator. That's enough reason for me to kick your ass."

She charged forward.

Her fist smashed into Arlong's face, shattering several of his teeth. Before he could react, she followed with a powerful kick to his stomach, sending him skidding backward.

Arlong slowly stood again. His mouth was a mess of chipped and broken teeth, yet he was smiling.

Suddenly, the damaged teeth fell from his mouth. New ones rapidly grew in their place.

"Surprised?" Arlong sneered.

He shoved his fist into his mouth and ripped out a full set of teeth, then did the same with the other hand. As the teeth regrew inside his mouth, he now held two jagged clusters in his fists.

"I call this Tooth Gum, and I am going to shred your body into pieces."

Using the teeth like knuckle dusters, he rushed Lily and launched a relentless barrage of punches. He aimed for her head, chest, shoulders, and stomach, attacking without pause.

Lily dodged again and again. She was weaving between the strikes with sharp focus.

Arlong threw another heavy punch.

Lily sidestepped. She then grabbed his arm and flung him cleanly over her shoulder. She leapt into the air after him.

"Gomu Gomu no… Rifle!!"

Her stretched fist slammed into his chest, the impact rippling through his body. Still airborne, she followed up by kicking him square in the face. This attack had bent his nose yet again.

"Ahhh!" Arlong screamed. "You bitch! You will die!" he roared, straightening his nose once more.

Arlong tore out yet another pair of teeth and charged again. As he swung, Lily moved faster. Her fist smashed into his jaw with terrifying force.

The blow sent Arlong flying straight into the ceiling, crashing through it and plunging down to the floor below.

Lily followed him through the hole.

Arlong rose again, this time gripping a massive weapon.

"This is my saw-shaped sword! I am going to cut you!!"

The blade was enormous—twice his own length. A long handle formed the core, embedded with six large triangular blades along its edge.

Arlong swung the weapon at Lily in a wide arc.

She dodged and countered with a rubberized punch. Blood sprayed from Arlong's body as exhaustion finally began to show. The constant punishment was wearing him down.

"Gomu Gomu no… Super Strong Pistol!"

Lily launched her attack.

Arlong raised his sword to block, but Lily closed the distance in an instant and punched him directly in the face. His nose bent yet again. The sword slipped from his grip as he was sent flying into the wall.

Lily didn't stop.

She grabbed Arlong by his nose. She then hurled him upward and punched him with everything she had.

Boom!!

Arlong crashed through three floors before landing heavily on the rooftop.

The building trembled because of the impact.

When the dust settled, Arlong lay completely still.

It seemed the tyrant of Arlong Park had finally been defeated.
