Chapter 51 - Your Alpha, not mine

"Nothing makes sense. Nothing!" Dante growled as he paced from his desk to the door, then back again.

Well, lately, nothing really made sense, to be honest. But when it came to Oleander, everything seemed to be mystery upon mystery.

I had always been curious about how she came to be human among all her siblings. Even though Jonathan never mentioned who her mother was—not once—Oleander should have at least inherited his gene, as it seemed he had the dominant gene, given that all his other children were werewolves.

Yet, only Oleander was the oddball out.

And now, she was supposed to be the Catalyst, a being that hadn't been spoken of in over a hundred years. A being found only in myths, rarely spoken of because of the doom it brought.

I scoffed. No. It was impossible. They were honestly mistaken.

I sat up straight on the couch, staring at Dante, who was now sitting at the edge of his desk.
