Chapter 111 - Ch 111: First storage ring

‎Now came the real work. Creating vyuhas.

Vyuhas were made from symbols. Runes. Each vyuha had a core and many nodes. The core held the main function. The nodes connected and supported it.

For a storage ring, the main vyuha needed to be a space type. It would create and hold a small pocket dimension.

Solar clone took a thin carving tool made from hardened metal. He began to channel his solar essence into the tip.

First attempt.

He started drawing the core symbol. A circle with three crossing lines inside. Then he added the first node. A small triangle pointing outward.

But the essence flow was not stable. The lines became crooked. The rune cracked. The whole pattern collapsed.

The ring did not break, but the half-formed vyuha vanished like smoke.

Solar clone did not get angry. He simply cleaned the surface with a soft wind and started again.

Second attempt.

This time he controlled his essence better. The core symbol formed cleanly. He added four nodes around it. Each node was a small curved arrow.

But when he tried to connect the last node to the core, the essence surged too strong. The lines burned too deep. The metal could not hold the pattern.

Again, the vyuha failed. The ring surface now had faint burn marks.

Solar clone closed his eyes for a moment. He remembered how root clone had perfected space element control. He thought about the flow. Slow. Steady. Like breathing.

Third attempt.

He started once more. This time, his essence flowed gentle and even.

The core symbol appeared perfectly. A clean circle with three balanced lines.

Then he carved the nodes. Eight small points around the core. Each one connected by thin channels.

The space vyuha took shape. Inside the ring, a tiny pocket of space began to form.

It was small. Only about 10 feet by 10 feet. But it was stable.

Solar clone did not stop there.

He added other vyuhas for smooth functioning.

One small vyuha for access. It would let the owner open and close the space with a thought.

One vyuha for binding. So only the owner could use it.

One tiny vyuha for stability. To stop the space from shaking or collapsing.

One more for concealment. So others could not sense the space inside.

Each vyuha was small. Simple. But they all connected to the main space core.

He carved carefully. No mistakes this time.

When the last rune settled into the metal, the ring gave a soft hum.

Solar clone picked it up. He sent his thought inside.

A empty square space appeared in his mind. Clean. Stable. About 10 feet long and 10 feet wide. Tall enough for a person to stand.

He tested it. He took a small stone from the ground and put it inside. The stone vanished from his hand.

He thought again. The stone appeared back in his palm.

Perfect.

The item was complete.

A real storage ring. The first one.

Solar clone turned it in his fingers. The surface now had faint golden lines. The vyuhas glowed softly when essence passed through.

It was not big. Only 10 by 10 feet. But it was a true beginning.

He stood up and smiled a little.

"Now we can store many things without needing more rooms," he said quietly.

The path to bigger storage spaces had started. Next time, he would make one larger. Then even larger.

But for now, the first storage ring was ready.

While solar clone was finishing the storage ring, sacral clone was playing Free Fire.

He had some free time. So he opened the game. First, he purchased the nineteenth ElitePass with diamonds.

Then he checked the new update. This update was very different from his previous timeline.

Free Fire had added many new things. It was like the developers got inspired by the spiritual qi that suddenly appeared on Earth. They did quick research on xianxia novels and made everything cultivation style.

Sacral clone started a match on Bermuda. Right away, he noticed the graphics were much smoother. Everything looked sharper and more real.

The map had big changes. Some parts of Bermuda now had thick mist and thunder clouds. Like heavenly tribulations from novels. In the core of those zones, there was a special glowing tower.

Players could go there and control the tower. It called down heavenly thunders to strike enemies. Sacral clone suddenly smiled because One enemy squad tried to rush him. He activated the tower. Boom. Thunders hit them all. Dead in seconds.

There was also a new airdrop. It dropped a special sword board. Sacral clone grabbed one. He equipped it and jumped. The board let him fly in the sky for some time. He glided over the zone, shooting down players below.

He returned to the lobby for seeing more updates.

New characters caught his eye. Three big ones. A Taoist priest with robes and a paper talisman skill that stunned enemies. A fat Buddha who healed the squad with a glowing palm. And a beautiful goddess with flowing silk dress. Her skill made flower petals explode on hit. All active skill characters.

Sacral clone picked the Taoist priest. Perfect for him.

Guns had elemental skins now. Many of them. He bought an AWM skin with gold element.
