Chapter 200 - Ch 200: New Working Place

‎The buildings here looked like they had been forged from polished black metal and seamless glass, rising in sharp, angular lines that cut against the sky. A massive central tower dominated the complex—tall, cylindrical, topped with a glowing blue orb that pulsed slowly like a digital heartbeat, casting soft cyan light across everything below.

Surrounding it were clusters of low, sleek structures—rectangular blocks with clean edges, their surfaces reflecting the artificial sun in mirror-like perfection. Blue-lit pathways snaked between the buildings, lined with thin strips of illuminated panels that glowed steadily, guiding movement like veins of light.

No vines, no waterfalls—just pure, advanced architecture: floating platforms connected by transparent walkways, subtle holographic projections flickering at entrances, and a faint hum of energy that made the air feel charged. The entire complex felt alive in a technological way—harmonious, purposeful, impossibly efficient.

The employees stared in stunned silence. No one spoke for a long moment. The beauty was overwhelming, almost painful. It didn't feel like a workplace. It felt like a dream made solid.

One man whispered, barely audible:

"I am dreaming, right?"

No one answered.

The bus slowed as it approached the headquarters gates.

Then it dropped all passengers at the gate and left the place.

The employees who stepped off stood frozen at the entrance, still reeling from the sight of their surroundings.

The gate itself was grand—wide open, framed by sleek metallic pillars that gleamed under the sun. Beyond it stretched accelerated roads, smooth black strips that curved gently toward the distant doors of the main building.

These roads ran along the corners of the central path, humming faintly with azure light. No one needed to walk the full distance; the roads would carry them forward at a brisk pace.

The employees stepped onto the accelerated paths, feeling the subtle pull beneath their feet as they were smoothly propelled toward the towering structure ahead. The main building loomed larger with every passing second—farther than it first appeared, yet the journey felt effortless.

As they reached the entrance, the doors slid open silently. Inside, the lobby was vast and pristine, filled with familiar faces—friends, superiors, colleagues who had arrived on earlier buses.

Greetings were exchanged in low, excited tones. People clustered in small groups, sharing stories of the journey: the invisible car, the sudden teleportation, the impossible speed.

They also talked about the buildings they had glimpsed on the way—sleek black structures with glowing blue accents, sharp geometric lines, and that massive central tower crowned by a pulsing orb of cyan light. The entire complex felt impossibly advanced, like a vision of tomorrow made real today.

Some employees turned to the maids stationed inside the main office building, asking quietly about the layout.

The maids responded with calm smiles: "That building is the cafeteria. That one is the research wing. Over there is the recreation center…"

After hearing the answers, the employees were immediately stunned. A whole building—massive, multi-level—entirely for eating?

They were beginning to grasp the real luxury and grandeur of this place. It wasn't just bigger. It was designed for people who would live here, thrive here, for years.

Just then the CEO, Fory Li, arrived. Employees greeted him respectfully—nods, small bows, quiet "Sir." He returned the greetings with a measured smile, though his eyes carried the same quiet awe they all felt.

Fory Li then began talking with some senior executives and directors. They were now all waiting for their owner to arrive.

They hadn't touched anything yet—their computers, desks, files. Everything was exactly as it had been in the old headquarters, yet somehow cleaner, newer, perfectly placed. They were all talking, getting familiar with the space, exchanging bewildered glances. They didn't know that the game had already changed forever.

They were also somewhat surprised that their computers and important documents had all arrived here without any damage and in such a short time. But the surprise quickly faded away. They just thought, This is very likely a new technology.

The employees and all the persons were standing in the main hall, waiting for their company owner to arrive.

Just then, the gates of the hall opened and attracted all the attention of the present individuals.

Because the figure who entered was the new company owner himself.

Ether Clone coming inside saw the employees and passed a light smile at them.

This time he hadn't worn any mask, so his face was fully on display.

The employees greeted him. He greeted them in return.

But the employees were all looking at him like something otherworldly.

But their attention shattered from his face when he said, "I have updated the game, and also created an AI named Sphera. You can now announce and also start the servers with the help of Sphera. Your work from now on is to first understand all the things related to the game. Sphera will help you. And then you will announce the start of the game with a video explaining the new update."

Then he just left the hall.

On the other hand, when the employees heard that the game had been upgraded, they were dumbstruck again and again. Updating the game took months—even a small update required several days of work. And now, in just two days, the new owner had not only shifted the entire headquarters but also upgraded the game? And created an AI named Sphera? They had spent years trying to build an AI and failed at every turn, yet the owner had done it in such a short time?

Fory Li was the first to react, voice sharp and decisive.

"All employees and executives, quickly check the upgrade and familiarize yourselves. Senior members and directors, come with me to check the AI."

All employees began moving toward their workstations and offices, footsteps echoing in the vast hall as confusion turned to urgent motion.
