Chapter 233 - Ch 233: I didn't invite him

‎The outfit and character could be customized for free on his first entry—but the background song playing on arrival was clearly a 7000-point store item. Not free. And the special effect was also costly even more than the background song.

I didn't use the background song because it wasn't my style. I didn't like people noticing me so much… but it seems Rudra enjoys it, she thought.

So how did Rudra buy it?

It had to be the glitch.

But why was the glitch only happening with her and Rudra?

Just as she was thinking, Rudra shouted excitedly.

"Sister! Are they your friends?"

Saying this, Rudra stepped forward and began examining Ruyi, Jina, and Galaxy—very closely.

Too closely.

He leaned in almost to their faces, giving each one a deep, curious look—eyes wide, head tilting from side to side like he was studying rare artifacts.

Sanya moved quickly, smacking the back of his head lightly.

"Rudra! Don't do that. It's not good."

In her mind she added: Looks like I have to teach him some manners first.

Even though Rudra's intelligence rivaled adults—and surpassed them in some areas—he hadn't interacted with many people in his life. In real life, he had done the same thing—curiously staring at disciples (not just females), hugging them, getting too close. But back then he was a child, so everyone just played along and laughed it off.

Now, though, his character was in adult form.

And these girls didn't know he was still young at heart.

They might misunderstand.

So she stepped in.

Sanya cleared her throat and introduced him properly.

"This is my little brother. Forgive him for the mistake. He hasn't interacted with many people, so he was just curious seeing you all."

Ruyi blinked, then laughed softly.

"Oh, he's your little brother? I was thinking it was some stranger—I was almost going to punch him. Well, no worries about the accident."

Rudra rubbed the back of his head, grinning sheepishly.

Jina and Galaxy nodded, unbothered. He had only gotten too close to observe them—nothing more than curiosity. It was awkward, but harmless.

Jina smiled brightly.

"Well, Roxa, now your brother's here too. Let's play a 5-player squad match. I've never tried it before—let's go!"

Ruyi and Galaxy nodded eagerly. They wanted to play as well.

But Rudra tilted his head.

"Sister, you didn't forget to introduce them to me? I don't know who they are."

Sanya chuckled.

"They can introduce themselves. As for me—give me a minute."

She closed her eyes and stood still.

Meanwhile, Ruyi, Jina, and Galaxy began introducing themselves to Rudra—names, IDs, a bit about how they met Roxa.

The moment the introductions finished, Sanya opened her eyes.

She said simply, "I sent you all something. Wear it."

She began equipping the same item herself.

Rudra was the first to try it. His current outfit blinked—gone in an instant—and a new one appeared in its place. No delay, no transition. Just seamless change.

The others followed.

Soon, Sanya and the group wore matching outfits: loose, casual training clothes in soft black and deep gray. Simple long-sleeved tops with flexible fabric, relaxed pants that allowed full range of movement, lightweight belts, and subtle silver threading along the seams. Nothing fancy or ornate—just comfortable, practical gear made for combat and freedom.

Rudra didn't question it.

Ruyi didn't question it.

Jina didn't question it either.

Only Galaxy murmured quietly, almost to herself,

"I just got a beautiful dress…"

Hearing her words, everyone burst into laughter—light, warm, and genuine.

Everyone except Galaxy, who flushed bright red with embarrassment, and Rudra, who just blinked in confusion, not understanding why they were laughing.

Sanya wiped a small tear of amusement from her eye and said,

"Okay, I'm starting the match. Everyone ready?"

"Yes!"

They shouted in unison, voices full of excitement.

Just as Sanya was about to press the start button, she froze.

Everyone else paused too, confused.

Why had Roxa (or sister) stopped now?

Then they noticed him.

A person was sitting calmly on one of the sofas.

He wore a flowing robe of deep emerald green, the silk shimmering with subtle iridescent threads that caught the lobby's purple light like captured aurora. The outer layer was long and layered, wide sleeves cascading gracefully, embroidered with delicate silver patterns resembling flowing rivers and distant mountains. A wide sash of midnight blue cinched at the waist, holding a jade pendant that glowed softly with inner luminescence. His long black hair was tied high in a traditional topknot, secured with an ornate jade pin shaped like a lotus bud. A single silver earring dangled from one ear, simple yet elegant. The overall look was refined, ethereal, and commanding—quiet power wrapped in calm serenity. (Tell me if you wanna see)

He sat on the sofa with perfect posture, legs crossed, holding a delicate porcelain teacup. Steam rose gently from the tea as he took a slow, measured sip—completely at ease, as though the entire lobby belonged to him.

He didn't even glance at the people staring.

Ruyi, Galaxy, and Jina exchanged quick looks. They assumed he was someone Roxa had invited—perhaps a friend or ally.

But Roxa's expression told a different story.

In her mind, she thought: I didn't invite anyone… he just came…

She looked nervous—uncharacteristically so.

Even Rudra, usually carefree, looked tense beside her.

The lobby suddenly felt quieter.

The butterflies drifted slower.

And the unknown guest continued drinking his tea, as though the entire lobby wasn't watching him.
