Chapter 254 - Ch 254: Scanning the Resources

‎Sanya didn't know that every use of the scanning device required payment. The cost depended on the item's size and complexity, so every Concord used it very carefully.

They weren't like Sanya, who planned to scan a single small herb, ore, or piece of iron without a second thought.

They didn't have that much money. They only scanned essential equipment and machines.

There are also some who even scanned entire labs or office buildings just to make exact copies in their Concords. They didn't want the labs inside and outside the game world to be different and confuse their subordinates and employees. But only big nations were able to affords it.

And now Sanya was planning to scan herbs in the fortress—likely tens of thousands of them. And because they were essence herbs, they were extremely complicated. It would require an enormous amount of money to scan them all and make them appear in the game world. Of course, the profit will surpassed the initial investment in just few years, but the initial investment is so big that they can't afford it.

But who was Sanya?

The game owner's sister!

She could scan as many times as she wanted—without any payment at all.

Ellie answered Sanya, "Sect Leader, I will start the construction of the sect lobby now. You can get the device after you exit the game. I will teleport it into your room. As for the technology, it will be delivered in 2 days. Just give me 2 days."

Sanya nodded her head. It was just a wait of 2 days. And she didn't have any use for that technology right now anyway. She didn't have any game items she needed to turn into reality.

But then she murmured, "Well, it's not that I don't have a game item… I can turn my outfit and wear it in real life… I will think about it."

Then Sanya left the game.

She would wait for the sect lobby to be created. She would also wait for the device to be delivered. And she would wait 2 days for that technology.

On the other hand, after Sanya left the game, Ellie contacted Sphera and told her to deliver a device to Sanya's room. And also start creating the embodied technology (same technology they were talking just now) for Sanya.

Sphera agreed and began working.

Sphera first controlled some puppets and told them to deliver a scanning device to the teleportation vyuha. This teleportation vyuha was created by Ether Clone.

Sphera just had to use this vyuha through puppets. After setting the coordinates, she could deliver it to any place.

Of course, she couldn't teleport any item inside the Dark Haven Fortress because of the restriction vyuhas inside. But she had taken Ankit's permission. Ankit had deactivated the vyuhas for a second.

After she successfully delivered the device, she told the puppets to construct the embodied technology.

She had created the scanning devices and stocked some of them. But she hadn't created the embodied technology yet, so she had no stock to directly send to Sanya.

She wasn't even planning to create the embodied technology soon. She didn't need it yet.

But now Sanya had ordered her, so she would do it.

She wasn't like the Concords, who would take months to create the technology. She could finish it in just two days.

Real world. Dark Haven Fortress.

Sanya had just exited the game when Rudra came into her room.

He said, "Sister, I told all the disciples about the sect. And they all agreed to join, and sent me friend requests, so when the sect is created, I can invite them."

Sanya nodded her head. She was going to pat Rudra's head, but then she noticed he was a little too tall now. So she just patted him on the back.

Rudra was happy. He enjoyed the pat.

Then Rudra noticed a box on his sister's bed. He asked, "Sister, this box wasn't here before. Where did you get it?"

Sanya also noticed the box. She saw the name on it and realized it was the one Ellie had promised—the scanning device.

She opened the box and found a tablet-like device inside.

She decided to use it right away.

Her sect lobby was going to be completed soon. So she could start scanning now. She was free and also curious about the device. Unlike Mordan, who hadn't used his device right away because he was busy with work.

She told Rudra about the device. Rudra was surprised by this function.

He thought in his heart, "Brother is so amazing…"

Then Sanya went to the storage vault—a whole big world just for resources.

She began scanning the resources one by one.

The tablet-like device could store the scanned items. Later, Sanya could connect the device with Ellie and start creating duplicates of the items.

After some time had passed, Sanya grew tired of using the device.

She had to move from place to place in the storage world, scanning item after item. She even asked Rudra for help, but he got tired too.

They weren't really exhausted—they were just bored. The repetitive work drained their enthusiasm.

Sanya's initial excitement for the device had completely vanished. Now she didn't want to keep doing it herself.

She decided to take help.

She used her mind-whispering technique to call a puppet inside the storage world. The puppet would handle the scanning from now on.
