A tired face looked back at me from the mirror as I stared at it. My black dress made my pale face look almost sickly, and the yellow-based foundation I had applied on my skin did not help my case.
I finished my look by highlighting barely-there dark circles for a more…dramatic effect and I was done.
'I truly do look sick and tired. I am sure I will be able to invoke people's sympathy with this look.'
Today was the court date, and also time for Miss Anabella to be tried in front of the jury. She would surely be in a state which would invoke people's pity for her.
Not only that, but there were more than enough defenders for her online, spreading word of how Miss Anabella was a noble person and not in the wrong for what happened. The vocal majority was a minor problem for now.
