"We need to take her to the hospital. Boss, can you get the car ready…Boss?"
Nesh was speaking to me but I had a dreadful realization that something had gone wrong somewhere and I could not find what it was.
There was too much for me to think and not enough time to do that.
"Boss Damian, allow me to help out. You look stressed. You should-"
Kana tried to touch me and tell me that I should relax, but I quickly turned away from her and toward Nesh instead.
"Nesh, take her. Now."
My voice came out sharp, almost hoarse. I did not trust my hands anymore. They were trembling, and if I hesitated for even a second longer, I knew I would freeze.
Nesh immediately understood the urgency. She moved fast, slipping one arm under Jenna's shoulders and the other under her knees.
Jenna let out a faint sound, her brows knitting together, but she did not wake up.
"I will go and get the car right now. Bring Jenna out."
I repeated, already moving toward the door.
