Chapter 108 - Peace Beyond All Worlds

The morning sun spilled across the academy grounds, illuminating every corner as if the universe itself wanted to admire this moment. Birds chirped. The air smelled of fresh dew and flowers. For once, there were no metaphysical crises, no collapsing cosmologies, no post-conceptual threats.

Ren Kai walked alongside Aria and Liora, his friends and companions in both heart and destiny. The academy, once a simple school, now felt like a haven, a place untouched by the chaos of omniverses and null-patrix-level events.

Aria glanced at him curiously.

"How… how did you vanish just now? One second you were there, the next—"

Ren Kai only smiled softly. His gaze, calm yet impossibly deep, reflected everything and nothing at once. In that instant, he was still Tier 00, Level 00, a sealed entity whose true power dwarfed even the concepts of existence, nonexistence, and everything beyond.

But here, in this moment, he chose to be just Ren Kai—a boy walking to school with his friends, safe and unshakable.

At the entrance of the academy, he paused and hugged his mother. She held him tightly, feeling the warmth and familiarity, completely unaware of the staggering metaphysical dominion he commanded. To her, he was her son. And in this, nothing could replace that bond.

"I missed you," she whispered.

"I'm here," Ren Kai replied, smiling. Simple words for something so impossibly powerful.

Every day thereafter followed a peaceful rhythm. Lessons, laughter, meals, and walks through the academy courtyard. Aria often leaned close, curiosity twinkling in her eyes.

"Ren Kai… every time you vanish, I feel it. It's like… you're everywhere and nowhere at once. It's… terrifying."

He chuckled softly, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"It's only scary if you try to measure it. But here, now… nothing needs measuring. We just live."

Even as they strolled through the halls, every glance from Ren Kai was a reminder: he remained incomprehensibly powerful, a Tier 00, Level 00 entity, yet he chose to live among friends, to cherish the simplicity of ordinary life.

He held Aria's hand, and she squeezed back, smiling. Liora walked beside them, her laughter ringing across the courtyard. For the first time, the weight of ultimate power was irrelevant. The cosmos, the Null-Patrix, the Authorial Layer—all of it—waited elsewhere.

Here, Ren Kai was just a boy with his friends, his mother, and a life he could call his own.

And so, every day in the academy, as sun touched windowpanes and laughter filled the air, Ren Kai remained: unshakable, sealed, Tier 00, Level 00… yet utterly at peace.
