Before Zero, five elite students stood, their postures disciplined and eyes burning with resolve.
There was Kaelen, commanding Lightning and Fire, though his mastery leaned toward Lightning, Arcstorm Level 2. Ravion, a complex soul, wielded Fire, Water, and Darkness, though Darkness, Level 2 – Abyss was his true strength. Lyther, with Lightning, Water, and Wind at his command, favored Water – Level 3 Blizzard, his eyes filled with quiet sorrow, a past tragedy etched into his very being. His older brother, a hero of the Great War, had fallen to the Commander, leaving him with a vow of vengeance.

Flashback – A Century Ago
A hundred years prior, the world of Zerath had been gripped by the chaos of the Great War. Three masters stood at the center of the conflict: Shadow Master, master of Voidshade; Master Sylver, master of Blackfire; and Master Zeyn, master of Blizzard.
Each led their armies with precision: Shadow commanded 2,500 warriors and students, Sylver 2,000, and Zeyn 1,800. These forces were smaller than the tens of thousands of Demon soldiers, but the master's guidance and strategy made them formidable beyond numbers.
The legendary Elyndra Island, sacred home of the First Elemental Sage, was the prize. Its ancient artifacts and long-lost treasures had drawn countless seekers. Suddenly, the sky tore open, a portal shimmering with ominous light, and through it poured the armies of the Demon General. The three masters knew the fate of elemental inheritance rested on this battle.
The Clash of Titans
The battlefield erupted into chaos. Shadow Master struck first, shadows stretching like living serpents, consuming all light and warping space itself. With a single motion, he teleported through rifts in reality using Voidshade- Dark Level 3 Ascension Mid stage, delivering strikes of spiritual force that shattered armor and morale.
Master Zeyn called forth a Blizzard-Water Level 3 Ascension Early stage, freezing rivers, snapping trees, and immobilizing soldiers in a storm of ice and snow. The cold was lethal; the wind sliced through armor as if it were paper. Visibility dropped to almost nothing, and every step forward risked being swept away by gale-force winds.
Master Sylver unleashed Blackfire-Fire Level 3 Ascension Early stage, dark flames so intense they devoured essence itself, leaving nothing behind. Lava streams surged across the battlefield, and the air shimmered with the heat. Rocks cracked and crumbled under the overwhelming force.
From the portal, Demon General Plasma emerged. His body crackled with electrical energy, arcs of superheated plasma jumping from him like jagged lightning. With a deafening roar, he released his ultimate: Plasma-Lightning Level 3 Ascension Mid stage . Bolts of plasma tore through the sky, striking the ground like meteors, searing everything they touched.
Inner Energy – The Masters' Edge
Yet even this devastating attack was countered. Shadow Master, harnessing Inner Sovereign Foundation Cycle (Level 3 Inner Energy), created a dense, invisible barrier. Plasma bolts collided with it, exploding in a dazzling interplay of light and shadow. His pressure field redirected the attacks, forcing Plasma to retreat momentarily.
Sensing the opening, Master Sylver and Master Zeyn fused their powers. Blackfire and Blizzard combined into a cataclysmic storm of blackfire and icestorm. Molten rivers collided with jagged ice, steam hissed across the battlefield, and elemental fury surged in a swirling vortex. Demon General tried to counter, but the sheer magnitude of the fusion overwhelmed him. He staggered, battered, smoke and blizzards enveloping him entirely.
The Cost of Victory
Victory came at a price. Master Sylver collapsed, scorched and near exhaustion, his body battered and burning. Even his mastery of Blackfire Level 3 Ascension Cycle had drained nearly every ounce of his stamina. Shadow Master and Zeyn rushed to support him, their faces grim. They had won, yes, but the battle had reminded them of their limits—and the looming threats yet to come.
