Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

I was about to pass off the last question, disregarding the hard work that I had put in for this.

But…

For some reason, I couldn't bring myself to do it… I pictured telling Nil every single agonizing day about my study progress and the expectations I had created because of that.

One minute.

My pen scraped the very last question into the page.

*Ding*

The bell had gone off, and the exams were over. The day was over.

A feeling of relief and dread hit me simultaneously.

'What if I went too fast and end up failing'… That's all I could think of as I walked home.

"No! The past is in the past! I am done! That's all that matters!!"

I looked around to make sure nobody heard me.

Let's just hurry home.
