'Jingliu' curiously picked up the small square cube.

When Lingyi had stripped everything off Doctor Primitive, she hadn't been gentle. Most of those "wonder gadgets" had been damaged in the process. This small cube had tumbled out from one of the broken devices.

Is there something inside?

'Jingliu' didn't have time to investigate immediately. Because Lingyi had departed, the distance meant the Tuning effect was fading, and real Jingliu was showing signs of another Mara-struck outburst.

'Jingliu' speculated that Lingyi's presence had brought a sliver of Noah's power. It was common knowledge that since Noah's main body couldn't ascend to full godhood or move freely—and even struggled to create an Emanator for himself—his biggest hobby was obsessing over his own Pathstriders.

Noah likely kept a close watch on Lingyi, who was already nearing the threshold of an Emanator. During the Tuning state, some of Noah's gaze must have spilled over to Jingliu, indirectly suppressing the Mara.

But even so, it was impossible to rely solely on a Giant of Light to cure the Mara-struck condition. Setting aside the fact that it was difficult for Jingliu to become a Giant, Noah's peripheral gaze only made her calm. During the struggle with Doctor Primitive, Jingliu had done nothing but stay by 'Jingliu's' side; she hadn't attacked or spoken. This state certainly couldn't be called a "cure."

For now, 'Jingliu' needed a moment to crack the object Doctor Primitive left behind. She simply pulled out the Evoltruster, partially unsheathed it, and tucked it into real Jingliu's arms.

As the soft light radiated outward, the nearly frantic Jingliu successfully quieted down.

"Sigh... so much to do."

Jingliu's problem needed solving, and as for Doctor Primitive, she didn't know if the Lord of Silence would strike again. Regardless, there was a possibility she was being watched, so she had to stay on guard. Once Jingliu's situation was handled, she'd contact Herta to discuss a counter-strategy.

However, despite the workload, the benefits were substantial. 'Jingliu' glanced at her panel:

[Roleplay System]

[Name: Baiming]

[Lifespan: 450 Years (Paused) + 29 (Roleplay)]

[Transformable Characters: Madam Herta (Available), Acheron (Charge: 93.1%), Zephyro (Charge: 54.9%), Ruan Mei (Charge: 19.4%), Jingliu (In-Role)]

[Available Draws: 1 (5.1%)]

Jingliu's extreme emotions had, in this short span of time, directly piled up enough points for the next draw. This roleplay session was proving to be a goldmine; she had achieved her expected goals without doing much. She might even earn a second draw before this was over.

Regardless, 'Jingliu' decided to draw immediately. She didn't have the habit of hoarding.

Draw!

The familiar train sped past. Then, the signature gold light spilled from the cracks of the carriage door. The door opened. A black-haired girl in red appeared before 'Jingliu's' eyes with a giggle.

Crap, Sparkle!

'Jingliu' fell silent. How was she supposed to handle drawing a Sparkle?

Was there a single true word in that person's background story or data? Where was she supposed to find her? Would she have to pull another "big stunt" and hope to find her through the news?

But a Masked Fool like Sparkle—would she really care if someone else was roleplaying as her? She probably would care a little; after all, she lived for elation.

So, what should she do?

'Jingliu' sank into thought. Sparkle's abilities were convenient, but if it were just for fighting, Sparkle probably wouldn't be interested. As for stirring up trouble everywhere, Baiming didn't have a clear lead yet, and it might not attract enough attention.

Like the incident at the space station—mostly only the Blue Planet cared. Her actions on the Xianzhou were mostly only of interest to the Alliance. Only the birth of a new Path would draw the eyes of the entire cosmos. Roleplaying as Director Sparkle obviously couldn't achieve something of that scale.

Hmm? Director Sparkle...

As 'Jingliu' thought of that nickname, a sudden flash of inspiration struck her. Speaking of Masked Fools, besides those like Sparkle and Sampo who caused trouble quietly, there were also those who liked making games and became famous throughout the universe.

Given Sparkle's style, simple killing and fighting clearly didn't fit the identity of a seeker of elation. But from another angle, it didn't have to be violence to get massive exposure. On the interastral stage, the entertainment industry was extremely prosperous.

So, as Director Sparkle, could she play with the "exposure flow"? For example... recreating a PV of a Lord Ravager and releasing it in Sparkle's name. Ordinary people would think it was pure fiction, but those in the know would be shaken to the core. At the very least, if other fragments of Zandar saw the video, they'd be frantic. Even Polka Kakamu might wonder where her plans leaked from.

Hmm, but making a Lord Ravager PV might get Sparkle hunted by them. That might mean Sparkle wouldn't have time to come find her.

Maybe start with a different PV first? For instance, "Fables About the Stars (Part 1)."

These fables truly existed in this world, but 'Jingliu' did a quick search and found the actual content was fragmented, with fake versions circulating everywhere. Detailed descriptions of the Lords Ravager and Aeons were severely lacking. Making a video about Aeons wouldn't carry the risk of Sparkle being hunted. And since Aeons were literal, existing gods in this world, the popularity would be guaranteed.

She could see how the reaction was, then find a chance to drop a Lord Ravager PV later. The Stonehearts under Diamond would work too, but the IPC would likely ban those videos immediately.

In short: use a high-end, mysterious video to grab attention, then release one or two of Sparkle's own character trailers. She should reap plenty of Emotional Value, and the real Sparkle would likely be fished out. By then, the whole universe would probably be asking: "Who is Sparkle?"

Hmm... hopefully I won't be hunted across the galaxy by Sparkle.Probably not.

...

'Jingliu' temporarily sealed the fallen Stellaron using the Path of Harmony while she mapped out the specifics of her Sparkle roleplay.

After bringing real Jingliu back and getting her settled, Elio reappeared from wherever he had been hiding.

"Everything seems to have gone smoothly."

"Do you know what's inside this thing?" 'Jingliu' asked, showing him the cube just to see if he'd bite.

She expected Elio to keep it a secret, but he replied in an indifferent tone, "A portion of Doctor Primitive's research records, perhaps some other things. See for yourself. There is a file in there regarding research on the Abominations of Abundance and a devolution experiment report that you will find useful."

'Jingliu' raised an eyebrow. Since when did Elio become so helpful? "Why are you suddenly willing to talk?"

"Whether I say it or not is the same. You would have unlocked the cube's secret anyway and seen the data. I'm just helping you get there a bit sooner."

"So, your operation this time was purely to help Jingliu recover?"

"Partially."

Here he goes again. The riddle-maker is back at it!

'Jingliu' reached out and clamped her hand over Elio's cat head.
