Jenifer's POV
I sat on my bed, completely absorbed in my thoughts, when Kolton's panicked voice jolted me back to the present.
I jumped up and threw the door open.
"What's happening? Why am I all over social media?"
I fired the questions at Kolton, bewilderment flooding my expression.
Kolton thrust his phone toward me.
"Listen to this—last night, Reed went on Twitter defending Lorelei. Claims they were childhood sweethearts, practically promised to each other from day one.
"Says he only married you because you were carrying his kid.
That's supposedly why Lorelei fell apart and fled the country.
Now that you and Reed are calling it quits, heading for divorce, he's trying to patch things up with her,"
Kolton spat out, his voice thick with irritation.
"The whole internet's calling you the real homewrecker—saying you trapped Reed with a pregnancy and shoved Lorelei aside. The comments are absolutely brutal," Kolton continued.
