Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Beautiful Elf Girl

He used the same method.

He analyzed "Linguistics," "Extraterritorial Biology," "Physics," "Mathematics," "Chemistry," "New World Geography" ... all at once.

In just five minutes, he mastered all the knowledge of the entire second semester of senior year.

This isn't simple memory; it's a thorough understanding of all the knowledge mentioned in the textbooks. Unless faced with an extremely difficult problem, he can give the standard answers.

The time was still early. Some classmates were chatting and joking around, some were catching up on sleep, and a few good students had already started practicing exercises.

Until the bell rang, the classroom became a bit quieter.

But surprisingly, instead of a history teacher for the first period, the class teacher Zhang Lei walked in.

The old teacher got on the podium, glanced around, and said:

"I have an announcement. A new student has transferred to our class. Like Wuer, the new student is also an international student of another race."

Speaking, he looked toward the door with a smile and said, "Come in."

Everyone was astonished, and after realizing, they applauded enthusiastically.

Amidst the applause, a lovely silhouette walked through the door.

The first sight was a pair of stunning emerald green eyes and a pair of fair, pointy ears.

She was exceptionally pretty, with an almond-shaped face, willow eyebrows, a high nose bridge, and cherry lips.

Her features were nearly perfect, with no signs of makeup, appearing purely natural.

A head of silver-white hair cascaded like a waterfall, reaching her waist;

Behind the bangs, her eyes were like two emerald gems, exuding a refined sense of nobility.

The girl was tall and curvy.

The usually hated Jinghai First Middle School uniform, worn on her, appeared not bulky but rather elegant and graceful.

Her appearance was a beauty impact for all the students of Class 4!

"Tsk tsk, she should fit well within your human beauty standards, right?" Wuer whispered to his desk mate, "Only an elf can be such a pure natural beauty without technology or heavy enhancements."

The Elf Race is renowned globally for their beauty, with handsome males and beautiful females; there are virtually no ugly elves.

Lu Xun did not deny and nodded calmly, but he disagreed with the latter part of the comment:

"Don't just bash, Da Gu. We humans also have plenty of beauties, naturally beautiful girls are numerous. What do you, an Undead Race, know!"

Today, there are over a hundred intelligent races globally, each with vastly different aesthetic standards.

Lu Xun once asked Da Gu about his criteria for choosing a mate, and was deeply shocked by the reply, resulting in him remembering the conversation to this day—

"Mate choice criteria? Well, Brother Lu, I'm only telling you this as a friend. I like girls with fashion sense and cleanliness. The color of their soul fire isn't important, but their bones must be white and smooth, no grime in the joint gaps. The spine must be straight, pelvic bones well-proportioned, temporal bones slightly flat. If the ribs have an elegant curve, they are more attractive..."

Therefore, discussing women with this guy is entirely a waste of time.

Pursuing sexiness in a "boney" context?

It's essentially cross-species communication, where everyone's aesthetic channels don't align.

Wuer mischievously asked:

"Brother Lu, did you feel heart-struck?"

"Childish." Lu Xun replied expressionlessly.

...

The elf stepped onto the podium and very politely introduced herself.

Her name was Wei'Er, and she had arrived in human society as an exchange student two years prior.

A few days ago, she actively connected with the elf ambassador to the Human Federation, completed the paperwork, and transferred from Titan City to Jinghai First Middle School.

Upon hearing this, everyone was surprised.

Titan City is a Sixth-level Self-looping City.

There are only four cities of this level in the entire Human Federation!

With highly developed economy, science, and productivity, it essentially achieves allocation as needed, and all resources are top-notch.

Jinghai is a Second-level Self-looping City where only the elite citizens of the Inner City have escaped poverty, accounting for 3% of the population.

The remaining 97% of outer city peasants still struggle in life.

If Lu Xun had a legal residence in Titan City, he would wake up laughing even in his dreams!

What does allocation by need mean?

This elf, rather than staying in that paradise, actually transferred to Jinghai City, this impoverished nook.

"Wei'Er, please use that empty desk for now." The old teacher pointed to the desk by the window in the last row and suggested, "We'll adjust your seat later."

The elf nodded, carrying her backpack as she headed to the back.

Her charming face was emotionally detached, like an orchid carved from ice, not deliberately maintaining a high demeanor but likely due to her character.

Coincidentally enough, the elf's seat was just behind Lu Xun and Wuer, making them front and back row neighbors.

"Hello, Wei'Er. I'm called Wuer, you can just call me Da Gu."

The Wuer Skull's mouth opened and closed, soul fire flickering in its eye sockets, proactively greeting.

"Pleasure to meet you, Da Gu of the Undead Race." She politely shook the bone hand, showing no disdain.

In fact, historically, the Elf Race and the Undead Race had deep-seated animosity.

The Elf Race loves nature and respects the Law of Life.

The Undead Race believes, conversely, that death is the beginning of life and that Undead Magic is the essence of the universe.

The two races disliked each other, considering one another heretics.

Later, during the global wars after the third Celestial Convergence, through the mediation of the Human Federation, the two races finally laid aside their prejudices and shook hands for peace.

After experiencing the trials of the fourth and fifth war, the Elf Race and Undead Race have long become solid allies.

From skepticism to understanding and accepting each other, history witnessed it all.

History proved that in fundamental racial belief conflicts and contradictions, biological intelligence might not resolve them.

But external pressure from life and death threats can compel the opposing sides to set prejudices aside and unite externally.

Under the pressure of survival threats, little prevents reconciliation.

Lu Xun watched the handshake between the elf and undead before him, feeling slightly sentimental.

He also extended his hand to Wei'Er, politely shaking it and introducing himself: "Lu Xun."

"Feel free to ask us for help if needed!" Wuer thumped his breastbone proudly, declaring, "I'm the desk mate of the top-ranking student. If you want to copy homework, you can ask me at any time!"

If you remove the words "of desk mate," the sentence has high value and style.

But by including those three words, it seems rather ridiculous.

"Alright, thank you, Wuer," Wei'Er seriously nodded her head and sincerely replied,

"Regarding 'Mathematics,' I truly have a need to copy homework. However, my 'Linguistics' and 'New World Geography' grades are excellent, so I can lend you my homework later."

"No need to lend me your homework," Wuer confidently stated, "I don't need it."

Wei'Er paused, then nodded: "Okay, I understand."

Wuer noted that she understood and turned satisfactorily around, telling Lu Xun she understood.

But Lu Xun felt she actually didn't understand.

She simply misunderstood that the desk mate of the top-ranking student must also have excellent grades.

Little did she know that with Lu Xun not doing his homework, copying Wuer's math homework would lead to disastrous consequences!

...

After the brief interlude, the lesson continued.

Lu Xun sat to the right of a skeleton, with an elf behind him.

Three different races gathered in this little corner.

The experience was rather fascinating, making him ponder.

Wei'Er should, just like Wuer, be skilled in magic as well.

Yes, magic!!

Since the Celestial Convergence, these fantasy story elements have appeared on Blue Star.

Unfortunately, humans cannot control magic essence or utilize it.

Initially, Lu Xun did not believe this, coaxing Wuer into teaching him minor magic tricks, but even the simplest ritual magic was beyond his grasp!

Yet he possesses the "All-Knowing Right Hand," and once he integrates the genes of Otherworld races, he should be able to control magic essence too.

...The future looks promising!!
