"You need strong wings to fly farther, and besides, you are the ones who supported me in flight. If my wings were stronger, I could also shield you from the wind and rain."

The two elders were amused by her words, and their expressions softened.

The old man understood her intent, "Did you have another argument with your dad today?"

Claire Prescott shook her head, "No argument, it would be better if Dad were more open-minded."

"Many things cannot be judged just by appearances; family members won't harm you, understand?"

"I understand." Claire immediately steered the conversation back, tentatively asking, "Grandpa, do you agree with my plan to return to Kystral?"

The old man hesitated, furrowed his brows, wanting to relent but not quite ready, he finally spoke, "Stay with us a few more days, sleep here tonight, and accompany your grandma for a walk tomorrow."

"Okay." Claire beamed with joy.
