Twenty miles south of Qingshui Town, outside a dense forest, the Cyan Cloud Army caught up with the Black Mountain Rebel Army.
"The rebels are just ahead, chase them down!"

The Black Mountain Rebel Army was made up of foot soldiers. On open ground, cavalry would crush them except for those with heavy armor and shields. Dozens of Cyan Cloud cavalrymen spurred their horses forward but something felt off for the leading Cyan Cloud Captain.
The overcast sky was dim, and in this hilly region, the fine rain soon gave rise to dense fog, severely limiting visibility.
