Chapter 42 - Chapter 42: The Feeling of Home

Quinn Morgan listened to Mia's words, her complexion improved a lot, but she was still simmering with unresolved anger.

She said with a cold face, "If only she could be as sensible as you, I wouldn't always be so angry. She doesn't measure up to even half of you - just looking at her makes me mad."

Mia felt smug, thinking to herself: Of course, how could that ugly creature compare to me? If she weren't the leader's child, I wouldn't even glance at her.

Though full of disdain, she didn't show it on her face, instead advising, "Matron, don't get upset—it's not good for your health. Your sister has become more diligent, not only awakening her special abilities but also making delicious food. I heard that the pig intestines she made today smell amazing, the whole tribe can smell it. Maybe she'll bring some over for you later, so don't show her your anger, or she'll be unhappy again."
