The professor's lectures are quite boring. Holly Sawyer was getting sleepy; she already knew all this stuff.
"Boss, are you sleepy?"
Diana Curtis looked at Holly Sawyer's sleepy appearance and reached out to poke her.
This class was Professor Douglas's, a history class. Professor Douglas's lectures were famously dull but also notoriously strict. He'd fail students at the drop of a hat, so even if the students didn't want to listen, they forced themselves to pay attention.
"Didn't sleep well last night."
Holly Sawyer propped her chin up and said lazily. She was already low on energy, and hearing Professor Douglas's almost hypnotic lecture made her suddenly sleepy.
"But..."
"That student who's about to fall asleep, you understand it all, do you? Stand up and answer my question now."
Diana Curtis had not finished her sentence when Professor Douglas stared at Holly Sawyer, tapping the blackboard with his ruler, speaking in a stern tone.
