Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Reliving That Night

"Miss?" Aunt May felt a surge of joy in her heart.

Aunt May naturally knew about Evelyn Morgan's admiration and adoration for Mr. Caden. Just before her twentieth birthday, she kept asking if he would show up.

Unfortunately, Aunt May didn't understand what Mr. Caden was thinking, and couldn't help Evelyn.

If Miss knew that Mr. Caden called to ask about her, she'd definitely jump with joy!

"Miss was very tired from playing last night, she's in the room right now…" At this point, Aunt May quickly cut herself off.

If she said Miss was sleeping, she would surely miss Mr. Caden's call!

"Miss is playing in the room!" Aunt May immediately corrected herself, "I'll take the phone to her!"

"Playing?" The man's tone was icy, "She's still in the mood to play?"

Aunt May didn't understand what Mr. Caden meant by this, why did it feel like he was angry?

After a long pause, Aunt May almost thought the call had been disconnected when another question surfaced: "Did Evelyn ever have a dog? What was its name?"

"There is a dog at home, named 'Kiki', and it has a really good relationship with Miss!" Aunt May reported truthfully.

As soon as she finished speaking, the phone clicked and disconnected, leaving only a cold, numb dial tone.

On the other end, Caden Lockwood sat in his office chair, his expression handsome yet extremely cold, exuding an intimidating and unapproachable aura. Just sitting there, he instilled fear.

It seemed that last night, Evelyn really wasn't accommodating him but was calling out a dog's name?

But then what about those condoms?

Damn it!

It had always been him detesting women, and that woman dared to despise him?

She even said that if she were sober, she would never look at him!

Damn foolish woman!

He wanted to see when he appeared in front of her sober, would she pretend not to see him!

...

After hiding in the bedroom until noon the next day, using up several bottles of body wash and scrubbing herself over and over, Evelyn finally walked out the door.

She was puzzled by one question - did she actually have a relationship with that uncle?

In her understanding, the "first time" was supposed to be a painful process.

But why didn't she feel any pain below, instead, her limbs were weak, her head was bursting, and most annoyingly, her mouth was itchy and painful, not getting better no matter how much lip balm she applied.

Going to the hospital to check if her body was intact, she naturally dared not.

She hoped by going to the "Sailboat" hotel again, she might recall something.

After all, she could only treat a dead horse as if it were alive at this point!

Using the excuse that she forgot something, Evelyn re-entered the room accompanied by a cleaner, looking around, the first memory that flooded back was waking up that day.

The man said their first time was in the bathtub.

She gazed at the bathtub and knocked on her head; why couldn't she remember anything?

Even a single fragment would be good!

Pretending to look for something, she looked around, forcing herself to recall.

"You don't look like you're searching for something." Caden Lockwood's voice suddenly rang out, "More like revisiting the past, savoring that night again."

The unexpected voice startled Evelyn, causing her to turn around and stare at the door, her legs failing to support her weight, making her fall to the ground.

At some point, the cleaner had left, and instead, Caden stood at the door, his tall body leaning on the doorframe, legs casually crossed, arms folded, with a smirk on his face. His posture was lazy, exuding a wicked charm and handsome demeanor.
