## **Scene 83— "The Journey of Jim Jamar and Labeeb Ghaith"**

Jim Jamar and Labeeb were still sitting around the flame, enjoying its warmth under the glitter of the stars, and it seems that Jim Jamar had finished telling the story of the Land of the Warriors to Labeeb, and they moved on to another topic. Let us continue...

**Jim Jamar:**

"Beginnings are always the hardest...

If you pass the threshold of the beginning, that will be an achievement...

And after that it will not be difficult for you to achieve any goal...

You have the will and the strength to start anew...

You must start again and change everything...

And open a blank page on which you write nothing but the sweetest words...

A fish needs the water in its tank to be changed from time to time... isn't that so?"

**Labeeb:**

"Yes, it is... but how will I do it? You know I am not a fish."

**Jim Jamar:**

"Boy... humans and fish are the same...

Just as bad water drowns the fish... stagnant air drowns the human."

**Labeeb:**

"And where is the beginning? From where?"

**Jim Jamar:**

"You are now shocked by what you have learned and frustrated by what you have lived...

That means you are ready for change and it is the most suitable time for it...

Shocks 'give birth to change' and change does not happen except 'by rebellion'."

**Labeeb:**

"Rebellion?… I do not like rebellion."

**Jim Jamar:**

"And what do you know about rebellion?"

**Labeeb:**

"It is something bad...

For example, a minister rebels against the king and a war happens in which many die and the blood of innocent pure people flows."

**Jim Jamar:**

"What you speak of I call a (armed revolution) or (betrayal) or (coup)."

**Labeeb:**

"So you mean like people coming out holding banners and causing riots and lots of shouting and noise?"

**Jim Jamar:**

"What did you learn in school?… I call those (demonstrations)....

Demonstrations of a 'violent' nature, not 'peaceful'."

**Labeeb:**

"Okay... you know a lot, O Red... so what do you mean by rebellion then???"

**Jim Jamar:**

"I mean making a change in ideas and removing the negative from them... and changing the pattern of life...

Didn't you tell me you love discovery?… So start a journey of discovery and renewal."

**Labeeb:**

"Now I understand what you're aiming at...

Like a person who changes his furniture from time to time or at least changes its arrangement...

Or like changing the cup he is used to drinking coffee from...

As for the journey, it is a good idea... if the shock does not kill you it will change you completely."

Then Jim Jamar lifted his head toward the stars and began watching them, and Labeeb also raised his head.

He said: "They are calm and imbue the soul with peace... the stars are my friends…"

**Jim Jamar:**

"Your friends are wonderful."
