Cooper let out a sigh. Throughout his time as a Leeds defender, he had played with many wingers, yet they all seemed to share the same traits in the 90th minute. He thought that Rio might be a little different considering he was tactically obsessed and mature.
However, by the look on his face, Cooper knew he wouldn't be able to convince him to take the ball to the corner flag.
"Rio, lad."
"Mmm?"
"What happens if you lose it here and they counter? We're in stoppage time of the Replay. If we hold, we get penalties."
Cooper seemed a little breathless, not expecting Rio to turn his body towards the goal instead of the corner flag.
"Penalties are a lottery, Coops. So what's wrong with winning right now? If I run to the corner flag now, what's to stop me running away from Van Dijk or Dias further down the track?"
