Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 5 ( DECLARATION OF WAR )

As shock immobilized me suddenly Locarious showed up beside me his presence completely disrupting the atmosphere of the coffee shop. My mind raced relentlessly finding it hard to grasp the event unfolding right before my eyes. Locarious, the figure I had been interacting with was now accompanied by Lint someone I had trusted and believed to be Akiras friend. The inquiry Lint posed to Akira "Who is Lucifer?" remained unanswered lingering like a challenge its implication somewhat. Ominous.

Akira's reply, an innocent jest, about the devil was a clear attempt to sidestep Lint's inquiries. Nevertheless Lint remained skeptical. Sharply told him "Cut the act Akira " narrowing his eyes. The intense silence was broken by Akira's flare of rage. His face flushed red as he bellowed "What the hell's your problem?" His shout echoed across the cafe. "Did you bring me here just to pose questions?"

Lint turned to Lucarious, his voice so faint it was almost inaudible when he asked, "Why did you tell me to ask him that?" Locarious responded with an evasion of the question and his choice of words carried a subtle aura of otherworldly menace. "Lint I obey your orders yet I cannot provide any specifics about your case. Bear in mind its outlined in the rule book." The sole comment I have is that the person committing the murder is utilizing Lucifers powers and I actually spotted Lucifer here, in this cafe."

Akira's gaze blazed as he yelled at Lint "What do you mean, Lint?" The fact that Lint was muttering to himself might indicate he wasn't handling things well. His following words were a tactic, a frantic plea, for Akiras cooperation "It's nothing but could you assist me with this case?" Akira paused briefly something unusual for someone who normally decided swiftly; his thoughts were likely overwhelmed by Lints demand. Then acting as a deceiver he smiled and projected an aura as if to say, "I'll go along with your act."

Akira asked Lint softly and sweetly "Well I believe that's an idea.. Tell me who exactly is Lucarious?" The query was a set trap, masterminded by Locarious himself. Locarious met my gaze. Briefly smiled with regret as if to say, "Alright now it's my move."

Akira's gaze was so piercing and transparent that it seemed capable of delving into someone's thoughts as he repeated "You're questioning me about Lucifer but who is Lucarious, Lint?" Keeping a demeanor Lint began to falter in managing the circumstance as his eyes grew increasingly agitated and his answers more fragmented. Yet inexplicably Lint appeared oblivious, to the fact that Locarious was a name associated with shadows and peril and that it lay just beyond his grasp. "I'm not sure " he murmured, the phrase feeling like a recently revealed admission.

Akira's smile, a sign of an carefully crafted scheme appeared to whisper softly "Got you now Lint." With speed his hand slipped beneath his coat drawing out a gun whose tip caught the dim glow of the café. When Lint spotted the firearm his eyes widened significantly and he was unable to avert his stare from the weapon; simultaneously his hand instinctively reached for his gun. The scene was thick with tension the silence between them palpable it felt almost alive the two men holding pistols at the ready, with expressions blending fear and determination.

Following what felt like a flash of lightning in a black evening Akira's voice resonated across the cafe "Lucifer is commanding me at this moment! It's a directive!" These phrases, haunting and archaic appeared to trigger the force, within him ultimately transforming his very essence. His eyes appeared as if blazing with flames of orange hues radiating a glow that seemed otherworldly; indeed it was a proclamation that he was responsible for the club incident and that he was half demon. "I am the one, behind the club incident. I'm devil, my friend. Attempt to locate me. I won't cease eradicating filth from this world. ADIÓS!!!"

There seemed to be a ripple in the air as well as an odd sound that resembled wind passing through leaves, after which Akira was no more to be seen leaving Lint wondering at the empty place where the former ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌stood.
